But to be honest, Cardiff fans aren't really ones for buying replica shirts.
sports direct have been selling our shirts!
Barely though, you don't see them paraded on show, so how can anyone say the major retailers have had their fingers burnt if they don't advertise the products? It's their own fault if they don't advertise the products. Not to mention we have a club shop in Queens Arcade as well where people can buy things. I didn't see our shirt on the Sports Direct website either, so this story really is a non story. Our debut season and we have had to compete with the ongoing support of the bigger teams. As mentioned, we are not a city/team that buys many replica shirts, whereas fans of the biggest clubs who support their teams in their armchair will be more entitled to buy a replica shirt since they don't go to as many games as a fan of Cardiff who would rather spend their money going to games.
Not to mention if Sports Direct is the major retailer then they don't sell ALL Premier League shirts so again the headline is semi-incorrect.
I'm not denying that our shirt is probably OUR worst-selling shirt in the club's history but it's clutching at straws really. We should only really care of the sales from our own club as again we aren't a club who prides ourselves in replica shirts and we are a club that likes to remain exclusive on selling our own merchandise

But hell I'm loving that statistics that it is the worst selling shirt ever. But will the arse lickers in the club keep Tan from the facts ?

I can't imagine any club selling less than ours.
its deffo not the least sold in our history.............
would you like to back that up with any sort of evidence? Or is this just your own opinion? I think it may well be the least sold in our history (when replica kits have actually been sold...)
and unlikely the least sold in EPL history......Wimbledon spent 7 years in the prem with a tiny fan base.........
with a fans base that actually wanted that shirt and was proud to wear that shirt. Didn't see many red home shirts at all last year.... Thankfully.![]()

No facts then... You said it definitely wasn't our least purchased shirt, now is that a fact? Or just your opinion dressed up as a fact?![]()
This wasn't even the topic being debated in the OP... What a bizarre response.

So no facts then, that out of all shirts sold by the club, this is "definitely" the least sold.
Opinion dressed up as a fact, just as I thought.

ask the crayon teacher if they can explain this to you............not selling replica shirts means zero sales.........i actually know someone that bought a red top so it was at least 1 sale last season.................so..no matter how hard you try to self justify a rediculous comeback...wrong is wrong is wrong..................i said it was NOT the least sold.. stop doing a roathe and mis representing whats been said...............wrong is wrong..be honest.be a man

worst SELLING City shirt... The ones that weren't for sale in the first place, so cannot be put into this category.

Blueboys1927 wrote:The Cardiff City 2013-14 home shirt was the worst selling premier league shirt ever, according to a giant multi national Sports retailer. The stores even in Cardiff and South Wales sold the fewest Premier league shirts of any premier league club ever, even with a massive reduction in price to try and clear them off their shelves.
The shirt was outstripped by many other teams even in its own City.
"You would always believe that teams in the top 7 of the Premier League would always outsell a smaller club such as Cardiff, but not teams lower down in the league".
"Retailers got their fingers burnt with this particular garment, and probably wont be rushing to stock this particular teams first team shirt again in a hurry".
