The stadium was completed in 1997 and houses 28,723 fans but its very rarely filled and the bars refuse to open to away supporters at half time

Bolton have the edge on Cardiff with 33 wins from the 66 between the two sides.

Bolton and Cardiff go way back with their first meeting being back in 1921, whereas the most recent game was a 1-0 Cardiff win in the 2013/14 season FA Cup Fourth Round.

Cardiff men Joe Mason and Kevin McNaughton spent time on loan at Bolton last season, with varying degrees of success. Striker Mason was far more effective during his second loan spell when paired with the impressive Lukas Jutkiewicz, whilst defender McNaughton did a job
