I'd say that was more concerning than the use of a bluebird on this shirt.

However, it's the visit Wales logo that I find somewhat detracts from the "we want a return to blue message" - it's almost as if it's trying to fly in the face against the visit Malaysia advertising the club have been using, and that's not really the issue we have, is it?
It's a fan-made football shirt. As a football shirt, I'm sure 90% of Cardiff fans would say that there's nothing more or less they would want from a Cardiff City shirt. Blue/white/yellow as our rightful colours, our symbol as the dominant image of the badge (the Bluebird), our nickname on the shirt, the Welsh flag, and local "sponsorship". It's the ideal Cardiff City shirt. I'm sure no one would choose to have Visit Malaysia as our sponsor.

Alex, I agree. The provocative "Visit Wales" logo was the single thing I was most concerned about

Chris, I love the theory of it all, I just worry that Thomas might not have totally looked into it when producing these.
Without permission, using the Visit Wales logo and text is a clear breach of copyright.

It is hideous sorry to say Thomas, looks like something a league of wales club would wear or even parks football.
Shouldn't have wasted your time and effort mate. No hard feelings.

Seems the samples were delivered last night.
There will be some type of vote (through Wales Online I think) on a few alternative designs before final decision on which one to go ahead with - but seems very close.
This from Alfie Sherwood on CCMB on 31 May:
'Personally, I've been driving another 'alternative' shirt project for the past few weeks involving the supporters trust (they have their own bluebird logo which can be legitimately used) and other supporter representative bodies.
We've got full local media backing to publicise the launch and a major UK based supplier on board to handle the logistics. They will also help to promote the shirt launch nationally. We are also working in partnership with Ty Hafan and all of the profits from the venture will go to them.
We will have several designs to put before the fans in a poll and their favourite design will then be produced.
We anticipate that the shirt chosen by the supporters will be available to order in the next 2-3 weeks with delivery well in advance of the summer holidays. It will be available in kids/ladies and adult men's sizes'.
