Looking at the business we've done already.... top six.

We have to go back up or ole loses his job, although I don't think he's good enough as a manger to take us up imo.

Since the playoffs were introduced only 2 clubs, Swindon & Wolves, have been relegated the season after being relegated from the Premier League. That's just 2 of 84 teams so it's very unlikely, in my opinion, that we will be relegated next season with the £23m parachute payment allowing us to keep a strong squad we will be ok.
In respect of promotion it will depend on our strikers an can we get them scoring goals, with a least one of them getting 20+. If we can do that then top 6 should be no problem but if we can get a 2nd striker anywhere near 20 goals then that should seal automatic promotion.
Easier said than done I know but with the players OGS has already signed I fancy scoring will not be a problem and by the time he has finished reshaping the squad hopefully all areas of the squad will be filled with young athletic player.
My heart say definately top 6 but I'll leave it until we have played 12 games into the season to decide on automatic because by then we will know or at least have a very good idea about how thing will pan out next season.

Who thinks we will go straight back up?
Who thinks we will be mid table?
Who thinks we will struggle?
Who thinks we could even go down?
Topic will be shown again May 2015

A lot will depend on how bad things really are at the core of the club, to most outsiders we look like a basket case, with a very unpredictable owner and no unity between club and support. Two other relegated clubs in recent times, who were in disarray are Blackburn and Wolves. In their first season back in the Championship Blackburn finished 16th and Wolves were relegated, so there's a cautionary tale! That aside, my personal opinion is that OGS will turn out to be a good manager and take us back up

I think weve got the firepower to blow teams away in this division.
I think unless Ole gets of to a flyer, we'll reach the play-offs. If we have a good start then auto's.

I think we will challenge for promotion. I expect to be in an around the top six all season, preferably in the upper half of the top six!

If our fans get behind the team 100% and are patient when things aint going our way in certain games, then we will go up automatic. It seemed to show last season that the team was effected by the cloud hanging over the club and fans. Really hope we become the twelfth man next season and push our players on to promotion

Mid table.Tans stupidity will see to that.

Top 3.
Would not be surprised if we won the Division as Champions.

I`m in two minds about next season either
(1) OGS could not get the squad he inherited to come round to his tactics, which forced his hand into the constant tinkering of the starting X11. So now he`s planning on shipping out what he thinks is dead wood bring his own kind of players to adapt to his systems and will show he`s a great coach, like he did at unfancied Molde and bring the right results to gain promotion. He`s made quick moves in the transfer market so far suggesting this the case, and i hope this option is what will pan out. If this option is proved correct I can see automatic promotion being well within our grasp.
(2) He is inept at coaching in what is a higher level, his tactics are so complex it boggles your average players mindset to follow the set game plan and they have to resort to more tried and tested (by themselves) tactics to see the game out, therefore creating a on field mutiny as their only option. If this is the case and he continues his constant tinkering then he`ll be gone before Santa arrives. Which will then see us gaining a new Manager who at best will see us scramble our way to a play off place at best and possibly with a few added loaned players or more likely consolidate another season in the championship the following year.
Sorry if anyone see`s this as sitting on the fence but I`m honestly in to minds how things may go, so I`m praying on the first option being what does ending being Ole`s fate as CCFC`s manager. Keep the faith BLOOOO ARMY

Top 6. Its a bit of a lottery to make the top 2 of those 6, but we look better placed than most to achieve this.

I still think it's too early to say because it depends on what players we keep and what players we're going to add to the squad. It also depends on Ole's approach, I think he needs to be consistent in terms of philosophy, the whole squad needs to believe in what they're trying to do.
Too early to say but I'm confident we' can get top 6.
