I will. I identify myself as Cardiffian first then British. Don't identify myself as Welsh because the majority of Wales suffers from some sort of inferiority complex when it comes to the capital. I am with blazing saddles personally!! Welsh with one scottish grandmother,a wife of Irish decent,which if I felt "british"would leave engerland! Sorry but its a no from me! Italy for me, always has been. Great football country, history of great great players though not the force they were.

I would say that there is a big difference between :-

Who will you support?
Who you think will win?
Who you would like to win?

For me, as a BRITISH, WELSHMAN, My opinion is that I will not be supporting any team as WALES are not in the tournament. I think Germany or Spain will win it and YES, I would like to see England win it (even though they have very little chance) as I always support British Teams over Foreign Teams.

I was gutted when they lost to the Germans in 70, and failed to beat Poland to qualify in 74, and when they lost to the Germans again in Euro 96 but my affinity with them is waning. I'll still want them to win rather than lose.

However I wanted Scotland to lose so badly which they did in 78 because there was a reason - Joe Jordan - but I've nothing against England even though I am 50+ years Cardiff born & bred.

I wish they'd stop singing those cringing anti English songs at CCS - what do the likes of Turner, Taylor, Noone, Whittingham etc think eh?

I wll be cheering on every team playing against England but sadly, with their weak defence, I really don't see them getting out of the group stage. There's nothing more hilarious than seeing England get to the quarter or semi finals and then lose on penalties, but England are nowhere near good enough to make it that far this time.
