He's yours for 20 million.

Seriously though the scousers were after him last season and apparently made their interest known. Rodgers knows him well and if you were given a choice of Liverpool or Swansea the only people who'd chose the jacks would be jacks themselves.

Swansea are keen on a return of former loan star Steven Caulker

The 22-year-old ex-Spurs defender was captain of rivals Cardiff who were relegated from the Premier League last season.

Swansea need a central defender with Ashley Williams and Chico Flores set to leave this summer.

Williams is set to leave this summer after talks over a new contract stalled.

The 29-year-old’s contract expires at the end of next season and talks over a fresh deal had been ongoing.

But discussions have broken down, with Williams now open to leaving the club ahead of next season.
Williams is understood to have five firm offers on the table, with Arsenal and other top clubs among the interested parties.

Let him go..........not good enough for us but will do well for the JB's in their relegation season

I'm sure any player would choose Liverpool over most clubs in world football. This business with Caulkers Mrs might be the deciding factor as to where he decides to go.Him choosing Cardiff was a shock to everyone so maybe he isn't your stereotypical footballer who only goes for the money and greater potential.

If he did sign for us Jacks I'd like it to be alongside Ash again and him being the learner and not the leader.

Too much responsibility was put on caulkers shoulders. He needed an experienced back line. He ended up with an 18 year old and a French lad with potential and turner who is a championship centre back.

Regarding the fee we want our 8 million back. You have money but would Hugh pay it?

Get our money back and I don't care where he goes.

I suppose on the outside it looked like he could have become a leader for you especially with his physique and pedigree.Like you say though it was all too much too soon for him and regardless of how good he might be he isn't quite there yet and especially not to lead a Premiership team.I've got a sneaky feeling he's going to end up in Swansea again.

You'll have to accept our apology then.

We never realised the final Decison was yours in regards to finances of Swansea City...

How much are you willing to pay?

My apologies. I forgot the average IQ of Cardiff fans on this site means it's difficult for you to understand when someone is posting their opinion without actually putting the words "in my opinion" several times in the post rather than actually being the financial director of another club.

I'll take this into account next time :thumbright:

Well if you f**k off there won't be a next time
