A couple of questions because I have heard opposing views from people in your situation:
Did you enjoy last season? If so was it as good as what you expected? How much better would last season have been if all fans were unified and up for a season long party as opposed to bickering?
As Tan will not be here long term (he has already talked about walking) are you concerned that we are back where we started in triple the debt? Does it not concern you that the money Tan pumps in all seems to be by way of loans (he could in theory spend £500000000 walk away and not lose anything as that money would still be paid back to him)? Everyone seems to be scared of what will happen if Tan goes but I'm more afraid of the debt he's creating and this boom or bust philosophy because that philosophy doesn't work. When I read the title I was expecting to read a quote from Kav or Earnie or Collins or Gabbidon?

Red Glory Hunter? Id never wear the colour buddy, im a firm believer in the efforts to get us back to Blue, im just not a spoilt child like you, I want, I want, I want.....

Just because ive had a season ticket for a while, I dont feel I have the right to call the club's owner a tyrant because he won't give me my way 100% of the time, my parents explained the basics of sharing and not being spoiled during my childhood, now go suck on your dummy numbnuts

Me too. Thought there had been an interview with Kav.

Wasn't he desperate to stay and his family loved the area.

Wigan sent him a helicopter and he was near enough forced on it to save the club.

Surely the ''I wants'' are the people who want Premiership football at any cost, quite unlike me in fact. Seeing as your talking of Parents, sharing, childhood, dummy and also using words like numbnuts I'd say there's only 1 child. Off to bed you go.

It's clear on here that a football club means different things to different people. But, just Because someone with billions put some money in doesn't make it ok for them to do what they want , it's an awful way to look at life in general and certainly not one I pass on to my kids. Wave the cash do whatever you want....is that an excuse for any type if behaviour ? Well, he paid the money so he can do what he wants ...horrible horrible theory. People will disagree and say it's business, have you got billions etc... No, but that doesn't mean I just sit back and let him do what he wants and not disagree. The club is what it is to me, Saturday out st the football whatever level. If I wanted prem football there's always sky. To me, my city is about supporting my team and being proud of it, l first started watching city in the 80s and going back doesn't 't bother me at all I just hate this new Cardiff because it's fake. People aren't really saying they want to go back but just that it doesn't bother them because success and good football although good is not the only reason they go to football

this would be a very good post apart from one thing................it is not true
a billionaire bought a football club/business.. decided he wanted to rebrand it.............
the fans were imediately outraged and abused him.....

at this point ..the billionaire said...fair enough.......if you dont want me..ill find another investor and walk........
change of tack by fans......please mr tan stay..please mr tan do what you wish

pass on to kids......................i pass on my word is my bond..a deal is a deal..have a spine

Not sure what deal I have made or what dialogue you suggest I have had with tan but I have never asked for him to stay and never will. He just owns the club I support and will make from it and will let go when he makes the business decision to sell either at a profit or loss. In the meantime, I hate what he is doing to my club as for him the club only exists at business level but for me it exists at community or fan level. I think you have missed my point which is not my having a go at those who want success at any cost but that there are some of us for whom success would be great but not at the expense of what I love about Cardiff and being Cardiff.

You only half read posts and come back with headline statements but in response to your remarks I will continue to protest and not accept the rebrand but I will not turn my back on the club I support. You're no bigger better man than I for the stance you take, if you go back and read my posts you will see that I acknowledge there are people like you who think that way but we just disagree. My statement re money and being able to do what you want stands, it's obscene and often used on here and I don't agree.

I did thanks, but yes, I agree that I was in a vast minority, which is why my actions had no real effect.

But please don't insinuate that I did nothing at all to back up my views, as that is inaccurate.

I disagree at the protest of getting ST money back. I personally feel that as a fan base we can do a lot more by going to games and showing our views there, where VT cannot "escape" from them. the blue scarves moment is a fantastic example of this.

You often have a go at others for making assumptions, yet make your own here. Saying that VT would have walked if ST had boycotted.

I've never accepted any "deal" and have thought the same from the day this was whispered after the West Ham play off final defeat... so I certainly haven't changed my mind.

I personally feel that VT has reneged on one or two of his claims too, so therefore feel the majority of fans have the right to do the same.

Again, all MY opinion. :thumbright:

You're no bigger better man than I for the stance you take, if you go back and read my posts you will see that I acknowledge there are people like you who think that way but we just disagree. My statement re money and being able to do what you want stands, it's obscene and often used on here and I don't agree.

ive read your original post 3 times..............wave the money,do as you want..........the truth Pat,......he saved our club,,,,stayed very much in the background........then for whatever reason wanted to rebrand it.........there was outrage........and he backed down...was willing to leave..........he wanted to invest but also wanted red........that really is his choice...........if we wanted blue it was without him............this is not riding roughshod.or blackmail...he wasnt threatening closure, simply not investing 10s of millions more..........your stance i find incredible...blue AND the money...or call him names...and make these accusations of waving money ...simply lies.........he has rights and choices too....was led to believe one thing.made a decision on what had been said .and is now faced with the opposite..........

trouble is Barry your one of about 10,000 that did plenty............its easy to make these claims......but even if you did,you were in a tiny minority............the strongest protest at the time would have been to demand your ST money back........if thousands had.......he would have walked...........
nobody asked me my views..............but because i am part of our fanbase, and pretty much everyone to some degree accepted,so did i...............im sorry i did..but i did............i refuse to now turn into a spoilt child and demand i get a second chance..AFTER he has invested......im a man,and take responsibility for my actions..or lack of them......

:thumbright:

it isnt an assumption Barry.........he said at the time he would walk if we wanted him too.......having been assured by many fans leaders that all was ok..he stayed.....us the individuals could have there and then asked for refunds and made it crystal clear we would rather him move on.............DIDNT...........i didnt ,you didnt.hardly anyone did........to claim the 15,000 blue scarves 2 years on is a better protest than not paying for STs well...........
