Sky sources understand Cardiff City are closing in on the signing of Reading striker Adam Le Fondre. Le Fondre admitted earlier this month he was unsure of his long-term future at Reading due to the uncertainty over the ownership of the club.
Brownie been championing this one for months. Good signing at this level.

Been reading his Twitter and apparently ALF's missus had a baby so that might keep them here I don't know? But seems like Reading need the cash so will be forcing him to leave one way or another

Pogrebnyak is similar to Zigic at Reading, on extremely high wages as he's a top striker in the Russian leagues, as much as he's a good striker I'd be content with what we've got once Macheda and maybe ALF are confirmed

I'd take him but why are all our strikers short arses hope we sign macheda simply because we need some height.

Just spoke to my mate (Reading fan) he says ALF is over rated, poor when he starts games, and has failed to convert sitters all season long. His biggest quality is being a super sub (a young Ole if you will)

I argued that we had more quality in service with Noone, Whitts, Daehli and Burgstaller - he had no reply to this
