He didn't clap the whole ground, he looked to someone in the Grandstand and that was that, he speaks to the opposition manager and blanks Ole. He can glorify his perfect scenario all he wants

Yes the persons in the Grandstand was his Dad, Doug, and his children.

The opposition manager was none other than Jose Mourhino who gave him praise as he left the pitch.

He may be arrogant, self centred among other things but he did give his all when playing and that is what we want from players.

A great Welsh player who always turned up on international duty and a decent guy by all accounts. Enjoy your retirement.

On the single point of not coming out for the lap round the ground with all the players and club officials - Bellamy's "reason", which I'm sure he believes himself, is utter self-serving drivel.

No "togetherness" there - just thought of himself, again.

Sorry, I don't agree with him, and think he was daft thinking such rubbish in a team sport with passionate, long-serving fans like us would wash.

I will always cherish the memory of his first season with us, when he still had genuine pace and was a joy to watch.

Enjoy retirement Bellars. Might have rubbed people up the wrong way on times but can't question his effort on the pitch. Some fantastic memories, the buzz surrounding his signing and the goal against the Jacks just to name two. The time is definitely right for him to retire, god help whoever plays under him once he becomes a manager. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:
