as has been mentioned several times, the vote was about 85% blue at one stage yesterday.

It may have only been a few Swansea fans who were sabotaging it (though some people are saying it was all over their site and twitter?)

but it was just some stupid poll from a newspaper, i dont think the catchment area or the 27,000 fans have anything to do with it. Very few people are going to log onto Wales Online just to vote, which means that even just a few attempting sabotage can have some success. As we saw yesterday, with Blue starting around the 85% mark and dropping steadily after it was posted on the swansea forum.

bottom line, it doesnt matter WHO voted or how many times.................this just highlights how totally meaningless all these open polls are and have been..............percentages have been used on here loads of times to support agendas......and those figures were as pointless and meaningless as this poll.. whether Roath voted a thousand times or not { sorry Roath if i have under estimated the time, effort and amount of votes ive attributed to you }.......

Its always going to be distorted in the early stages. The more people that vote the more accurate it will become.

If I set up a poll who prefers red? It only takes one person to vote yes and someone can say "at one point it was 100% yes".

They pulled it simply because it didnt fit in with their agenda.

Ok, I think we have established that jacks don't really like Cardiff (who knew??).

Get back to the crux of the matter:

The recent survey re. BLUE vs red was open to manipulation and maybe some naughty jacks decided to rain on our parade. Big deal!!

What are we going to actually DO about it?

Ask around the pubs, put flyers on the cars in Tesco, have a "wear BLUE to school" day, lobby David Cameron (he's BLUE), sponsor a BLUE whale??

Or....

Wait a minute...

Here's a novel idea...

Organise a ballot!

There, I said it.

Come on Roathy not even you can put enough spin on this one!

Someone said on here yesterday there was a thtead on the jacks forums urging your fans to help stick the boot it with a vote for red!

Im sure there were a couple Gav.

But not many would have bothered reading it let alone voted.

Dont you think its odd that that people think more Swansea fans voted red than your own fans voted blue? What happened to this catchment area?

I think its fair to say there are a lot more reds than some would like to admit.

I can remember the evening post running a similar poll on your favourite chairman mr petty and there was a massive majority vote in favour of you keeping him as chairman.
Hundreds of votes were cast by Cardiff fans in that vote and I would assume the compliment has been returned this time round.
All good fun and no one should take it seriously although you have to question the level of intelligence of the people at Wales on line who decided to run it.

Im not convinced Steve. There was a replica poll posted on here an hour ago and it had a similar theme, currently 50:50.

The thing with choosing blue is it means no Tan cash, no Tan cash means no flase glory. The cash is put ahead of the club by the majority of fans.

Thats why in 2 years there has been protests few and far between, largely poorly supported and strictly not anti Tan - record attendances seen 2 years running.

For people so dead against this red, they aint half enjoying the trappings that comes with it and scared to rock the debt riddled dinner ticket.

Surprised with the high majority vote for red. I knew that there were thousands who were willng to sell their souls, and bend over to the tyrant, for premershite football, but 65%  :laughing6:

Re: Red or Blue poll removed after Red wins

since Swans easily have 50% more supporters than Cardiff I suppose it is possible that it was hi-jacked..... but unlikely though.

it is more plausible that the silent majority of Cardiff fans are really quite happy to go with the red in the hope that uncle Vinnie will one day do what he promised.. :?

I didn't even know about the poll.

Irrelevant. If it was deemed cool to wear a woollen sheep uniform then we would sea a sea of sheep.

Fact is the fans asked for red and are doing very little to reverse it.

Wind your neck in, you really are a bit of a bore of late. Repeating the same old stuff. You throw a lot of mud around and now and again some of it sticks, and my god don't you just love telling us all about it. I have an idea as to what your reply to this will be...let's just wait and see. You never know you may not bite, but that won't happen as you love the attention.

Paul put a red or blue poll up here this morning..........within 15 minutes roath rodent was posting on the thread..64% red.......no other jacks online......so who voted red 9 times in 14 minutes?

You and your others accounts. Roath with his other accounts and probably the other jacks and Newport fan on here. I doubt you were watching who was online all morning.

Come on Gav,are you gonna say in the same breath that all the jacks voted 50 times and none of the cardiff fans did?

Thats what I mean.

Two fanbases. One which is the hot topic and should mean everything to them, the article was aimed at them and comes under Cardiff City news. There is also supposedly a lot more of them.

The other... On the whole probably isnt that bothered either way, the article wouldnt have been read by the vast majority... Yet we are supposed to believe they outvoted cardiff fans 65% - 35% - just doesnt stack up for me.

And if fans were given a vote on a compromise kit they'd vote overwhelmingly in favour.
