shares or no shares he's still on the board, and i feel steve would be hounded out of the board but i very much doubt tan would be "hounded out of britain"

Bullshit. He is forever antagonising people on the subject on twitter.

If as you say he is really against it inside then he has a funny way of showing it. Responding with sarky remarks isnt the behaviour of someone who is dead against it. f*cking "vibrant" my arse.

Players are told to be careful on twitter well same applies to a club director.

Borley used to be a legend in my eyes he helped stop us going to the wall in the dark times but hes seriously undoing his legacy.

I honestly don't mind there being a mixture of colours inside. It would make it look a bit more interesting.

Just need the red seats to represent the away kit.

Yeah, I get you mate. Yellow would look a lot better though IMO if they are mixing it up. Yellow and blue would go, blue and red is gunna look strange, just my opinion though :ayatollah:

I'd do this, then no one would know what the f**k to think.

Now that's bullshit.

He is not antagonising anyone who isn't questioning his stance as a city fan.

Someone asked him what colour the seats were and he told them something we already knew. The question was loaded from the start.

From that point onwards he took stick and had to defend himself.

One guy said that the reds seats would be sat on by fans only wearing blue and Steve acknowledged this and accepted it.

He didn't take to twitter to antagonise. People are just not happy with what he had to say. We too easily shout "woe is me" when things don't go our way.

Johnny come lately pricks like you are 10 a penny it would seem.Borley has a right to an opinion just like you but unlike you has done far more than you to keep the club alive than you ever will and that can be said for just about all the fans on here including the most important ones.

I'll always back Borley. He's a fan and supported our club financially when we were fucked.

He's a good bloke. Just talk to him and you'll see.

II'm glad he's still here.

I would be interested to see if tan allowed a fan into the board meetings and they saw the other financial commitments tan makes to the academy etc what their stance would be then.
It's easy to make a noise and criticise when it's someone else's money being spent or as in the summer transfer window wasted.
I wonder how many of us if we won a euro millions jackpot of a 100 million would invest it into the football club. I would hazard a guess none of us

Borley is a business man first and Cardiff supporter second, might not have always been that way, as I'm sure he would have supported the club financially far more than it was repaying him, but since all the new money has come in, well I'm sure his business has benefitted hugely from direct construction contracts at the club and contracts through connections made through his position on the board. I'm sure that like the rest of us he hates the re-brand, but unlike us he has more to lose by opposing it. What I will say though, that by making remarks like "makes the stadium look more vibrant" or mentioning that the Ninian Park seats were wood, then he triviallising a subject that is causing a lot of supporters a lot of heart ache. He shouldn't be doing that given his position, it's out of order

My dream as a kid was to get rich and buy Cardiff City. Then it would have only taken a few quid. Now, even euromillions would only pay some of our debts.

I hate the red. What I hate most is the damage that has happened to the fans. I'm not talking just about us being disenfranchised (sic) but about fall outs between friends and family. Personally I had a huge row about it with my dad and he was just happy with being in the Premiership. He didn't get it when I said I'd rather be blue and in the championship. He loves Cardiff City. My Cardiff City is different to me.

Back to blue.

Of course, none of us would invest the whole £100 million winnings :laughing6: However, just like Tan has invested 10% of his fortune, I bet all of us would happily invest £10 million of the winnings in Cardiff, especially if it bought you the club, as has Tans £100 milion.
You are correct though in pointing out that I'm sure many would have a different opinion of Tan, if they saw and were party to exactly, where all his money goes.

put that shit anywhere near the canton stand and i can assure you they will get painted blue, covered in blue... and probably ripped out

nothing to stop tan flexing his red muscle anytime he wants... if the new seats are red its a step toward the rest of the turning red

there maybe trouble ahead...

Makes you a bigger one then. How can someone with 53 seasons behind him criticize a man that's financially put more money in the club than all your entrance fees and season tickets combined.Another thing is as I got older I certainly got wiser, what happened to you.Borley and Tan got one thing in common and so have you and I.Borley and Tan stepped in when and kept the club going when me and you couldn't.They will always have my respect for that even if I don't agree with everything they do or say.
