Everyone spouts on about how stadium size doesn't matter, but neither does what division you're playing in really. Surely if you support a club you'll still be there no matter what division? Most City fans haven't seemed too bothered about going down because of all the positives the Premiership brings. Real football with real fans being the main one.

League standing give a good indication of what team is better (obviously), but as far as the size of the club itself goes, crowds and stadium capacity are a good argument

on that theory Newcastle are bigger than city, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Can you clear up something here, are we talking about the present situation, or are we just pissing in the wind? We have had over two million spectators in the stadium in three seasons,(and over two hundred million quid) which is a Premier League record for a Welsh club. If having thirty three thousand seats means licking Tans arse and having to have seven thousand red ones, we'll stick with just under twenty one thousand. Even if we had thirty three thousand seats, there would still be more than four hundred football stadiums in the world larger than ours. No shame in that for a second city, but embarrassing for a capital.

Anyhow size isn't everything you know, or do you feel inferior to Bristol, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast plus a score of "bigger" UK cities? Because I don't. Leeds, has almost three times the population of the capital so by your reckoning it must be three times better. Don't be silly, the capital has a lot going for it, but its population or size is not one of them.
