Great trier and will run his heart out for you but needs too many chances to score. As someone already said too good for the Championship but not good enough for the Premier League. Can't see Hull buying him to be honest when they already have Jelavic and Long

He will be a great asset next season for us

He would have done ok in the Championship, but there are more natural goal scorers around, it will be a shame if he goes, but it wouldn't be like losing Marshall......

he can run his bollox off....scoring is the name of the game and sadly he hasnt produced......

It's hard to score goals without service though, and the work by the wingers and his attacking partners often hasn't been good enough for him to score either. He put two past Man City, that was pretty damn nice, but he needed better support and passes to him to give him the goals.

i would of liked campbell and mutch together.....but frazer in the end semed to be in the wrong place and when he had chances you could tell he was a long way short on confidence... :ayatollah:

Ah great idea!
Let's have 1 'finisher' in the 2014-2015 squad. We'll go far.
Knob.

Bad signing for any premiership team. Championship is his level

But I don't think Ole rates his for his system of football as he has signed Jones, guerra, tried to sign Rossco, Le Fondre and spoken positively another Maynard next season.

Seems like ole would rather have a strong number 9 target man with a number ten midfielder (like Dæhli) or smaller faster striker behind behind to push forward. Campbell us a but of both so maybe doesn't work as either in that system.

I must be a tool then!

His work rate is second to none,

His finishing is shocking, not a natural goalscorer. His goals to chances ratio must be as bad as they get for a championship/premier player.

Agree martyn and he will find the championship harder physically and spend most of it out injured like he did in the promotion season

Campbell didn't come to us until the January and had a decent return for us in those few months, culminating in us getting promoted!

I think you're getting him mixed up with Maynard, who got injured at Millwall and missed the vast majority of the season!

Good luck to him.... bought for cheap, works hard, but hardly set the championship alight with us and most certainly didn't this term. Though i'll always thank him for his two goals against Man City, one of the few highlights of the season!
He's worth more than 800k imo.

Maybe the 800k is how much Malky and Moody get deposited in their Cayman Islands accounts should Campbell leave (allegedly your honour ;) )

weve seen it all to often this season hes got a shot but passes it rather than taking the chance, and the chance that hes missed from practically open goals e.g Newcastle most recently. yeah he runs like crazy but hes not a strong finisher you need in the BPL and if hes unhappy the he wont be any better in the championship this coming season :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:
