I've just signed up and happy to do so.




This time last season VT made that speech at the Player Of The Season bash about the dragon flying above the bluebird protecting it. He also questioned how fans could wear the blue shirt when clubs like Chelsea turned up at the CCS this season. Well Chelsea are here on Sunday and I'll be wearing my blue shirt Mr Tan, as I'm sure thousands of others will.

Time to get the message Mr Tan you have failed miserably to sell this rediculous re-brand to the majority of the Cardiff City faithful.

I just hope the Echo Blue banner isn't just for one day!

Agreed and if there was a big punch up in canton on Sunday they won't think twice about putting peoples faces on the front page of their rag.

I wonder who are going to claim the plaudits, for their part in our return to blue. BU, Fans, FA, WFA, Ole, WRU, Echo, the marketing men, this site, prominent supporters, Sam. Or Tan just realising that it just didn't work, and common sense prevailed. Successful business men are prone to taking a punt, but they're not stupid.

I mean they didn't want to upset the management like they did when Dave Jones was about therefore preventing them from getting into the ground reporting the games. Last thing they wanted was to have access denied to them taking pictures of Suarez, Rooney and the other prima donnas that sold papers.

They can stick their petition and their support where the sun don't shine.

Whilst I think it is too late, I think I could say the same thing about myself and the vast majority of the fan base. In fact, the vast majority have not united in a way to ensure that we get our rightful club back. To me its always been black and white, Tan or our tradition as both conflict due to Tan's views, unless of course he changes them purely out of his own choice and realises to purely capitalise and make a respectable business out of us, he needs his most loyal 'customers' on side first. I believe if Tan does revert back, which is highly unlikely, it will be for those reasons solely.

I am more than happy now to have The Echo on board. Its nice to have a local voice that actually is bought by a lot of people, maybe not Cardiff fans, but quite a lot of people do still buy it and its those people who may not have as deep an interest in football who we want to sway the opinion of which can then help change views in the entire city. Not everyone but the general consensus. Also, whilst many may not buy the Echo, many do read WalesOnline on their iPad's or phones and will see such articles.

Ask people not interested in football about Cardiff City and they often just go with what's in the media due to lack of interest or ignorance. If the media are singing the song we want to be sung then that is great as that's the song these casual fans will hear and that can only be a positive thing as word of mouth and opinion then spreads.

Is it too late? Yes, but quite frankly during those 2 years nobody has really done enough anyway. Some, like Sian, credit to her, have done more than others, like myself and that is something I will accept. Whilst I still don't think that is enough as I think Tan must go, it is still more than most and has kept the blue flame alive somewhat.

Rather than say 'its too late, we don't need them' we should be saying 'finally its nice to have you on board and lets unite together, put the past behind us and move forward to achieve the goals we now share'.

Purposefully dividing ourselves purely on the basis of time is not going to help achieve anything. Division only favours Tan because it keeps the fans going at one another as opposed to him and his 'friends'.

Now lets just hope the Echo have the bottle to push this and don't break when Tan starts fighting back which he inevitably will.

there seems to have been much more of a togetherness about this in the last few months, and i hope it continues
