A forum for all things Cardiff City

Steve Tucker is a fat ignorant slob.
Yes, Ole tinkered with the team trying to find his best line-up, but the players let him down week after week so in the end - what was he supposed to do?
Time for a mass clear out in the summer and Ole can bring in his team. Only then can we judge his manegerial talent properly

Yep, there are some valid points in this article. Not sure why people keep going on about MM when the article isn't about him. Ole is the current manager so what's the point in harping on about Malky's decisions. Most agree that Malky made mistakes...All agree that Ole came into incredibly difficult circumstances, so it's best to concentrate on where we find ourselves now. You can dispute certain points made in the article but I'm baffled as to how anyone can defend Ole's handling of the team. He has been all over the place regarding selections, formations and squad consistency. The team isn't and wasn't good enough but that doesn't excuse or explain OGS's bizarre decisions

1. Employing Aron Gunnarsson as a number 10
If Gunnarsson had scored on the huge chance he got it would been seen as a great desicion. He didn`t embarass himself imo and gave it all.
2. What's happened with Peter Whittingham?
Peter Whittingham was being booed and constantly harrassed on the forums for his bad form when Ole was appointed. Lets blame that on Ole, his influence made Whitts a bad player before he came to Wales right?
3. Don Cowie...Why?
Because Malky did not get us any better players as backup. And when you need someone who gives 100% and we got lots of injuries why not use Cowie? He did a good job imo.
4. Fraizer Campbell employed on the wing
Exactly where he should be imo..Condition like a top player, heart like a top player, finishing like a Skrill North striker. Why not use him on the wing when he cant score as striker?
5. Jordon Mutch axed
Mutch and Noone carried knocks and Jones had a decent start in City.
6. Three centre-backs
We needed 3 centre backs because Malky spent 50mill to make us solid in defense but he failed.
7. Which centre-backs
Hudson injured. Was played when it was said he was fit enough. Turner was out when Cala joined but Cala had a injury that made Turner the first choice in a few matches.
8. Talisman Craig left out
What has Craig done this season to deserve a starting position?
9. Magnus started but didn't finish
Eikrem was a shit signing imo. No idea why he bought him.
10. Capture of Kenwyne
Odemw was shit. Many thought it was a good desicion at the time. Didn`t work out but if everyone knew the result of transfers before they happen football would be a boring game.
11. What's up with Wilf?
Confidence!
12.Tayls, we lose
Another result of Malky`s 50 mill to make us solid and still Taylor plays a part of our team.

difficult to coment on things that happened this year without Malky getting some sort of mention......it was largely his squad Ole was trying and failing with............
there were decisions that baffled me too......but those 12?......was leaving Whitts out for 3 weeks that baffling really,he was having a rough ride off our own fans, so took him off.{ thats how i saw it }.. played him at libery but then decided rather than push, rest him....3 three CBs at Spurs.....the performance was ok at a top club.....Campbell on wing?..we won..Mutch not playing when injured..Gunner behind a striker last Saturday....he really should have equalised......
i think if this was largely a squad assembled or kept on by OGS fair enough..
but no not at this time...........way to early to judge

It's baffling team selections, of course Malay will be mentioned.

1. Has a point.
2. Needed a rest, got it, came back and played a lot better.
3. Ole's style is to play attacking football, when you have that you need someone to hold in midfield and do the dirty work. He adds balance which is vital and if you're a football "journalist" you'd know that.
Cowie has been a bit-part player November onwards. I don't want to bring Malky up but he should be questioned as to why he persisted with him on the winger over Noone despite it being very f*cking clear we needed some width.
4. Because he has done so well as a striker, right? I like Campbell, always gives it his all but he just can't finish chances or is good enough to play on his own. He played very well there against Fulham imo (which this nob fails to mention) and Ole had to change his side up after the leak that happened.
5. Injured and has been carrying a knock for a while. He has been average for quite a while now, obviously the injury plays a part. If we are to keep him next season we can not risk aggravating his injury
6. Is this guy totally oblivious to football outside of Cardiff? He is acting as if 3 at the back was something new. We played our best football with 3 at the back, sadly it didn't do us much in terms of points but nonetheless, it was better than 4-4 f*cking 2 with no defensive midfielder.
7. Has a point
8. Oh no we've really missed out on Mr.1 goal and 1 assist this season. Bellamy has done nothing to earn the right to be our "talisman" the day the Welsh media and fans stop loving Bellamy just because he is from Cardiff (despite not giving a crap about the club) will be a good day.
9. Fair point
10. We needed a target man and we needed to offload useless Odemwingie. Bad signing right now but you can hardly blame Ole when he had a limited budget
11. Ole's fault how?
12. The point of this is? He just proven that Taylor is poor and needed replacing yet trying to blame Ole for not choosing him.
Awful "journalism", absolutely shocking.

Fair play and well said Tucker. He could have added many more.
City will struggle next season with this smiling incompetent at the helm.
Get rid now and bring in someone who knows how to get a team out of the championship.
