llandaffbluebird1 wrote:1) terrible performances (Inherited a poor squad. So why were you happy to give him time prior to Newcastle?

Things build up and that was ridiculous what he said. That performance just summed up everything when it should have been our most passionate performance to fight and stay in the division. Instead we rolled over.

Again, poor side devoid of any passion or Premier League quality players.
2) squad rotation constantly which is leaving the team with a lack of understanding (You have a point

okay.
3) players looking unmotivated (Only two players have looked motivated this season, Campbell and Marshall

That's not true. Others have as well under Malky. That I will admit and i wanted Malky gone. Ole does not even motivate them to the levels Malky did.

Like who? KTC was fired up for the derby and that's all I can remember. Their abject display against Southampton shows how passionate they were.
4) Ole chatting crap in interviews(So does Jose, so does Rodgers so has the second coming Martinez. Every manager leaves their thoughts in the dressing room. If they were not obligated to do interviews and conferences they wouldn't because it is a waste of time.

All of them are getting results so can afford to chat rubbish. Its kind of like Mayweather can trash talk because he's doing the business in the ring. Ole on the other hand is chatting crap and getting crap results.

Because criticising players in public always works, right? Look at Sherwood, he was refreshingly honest about Spurs' players but it upset them and then barely played well since then. Ole has taken the blame for results this season (as mentioned, Palace and Hull) so it isn't as if he "chatting crap" every week.
Why bother replying then? You think you're some god on this forum, you really aren't.
[\quote]
No I dont. This is hilarious though that you've stated this after crying for calling you a shoe cleaner earlier on. Hypocrisy alert.

Not crying about it. Just find it odd you'd try and call someone out for something then fail to back it up.
So why were you so willing to give him time? Why not so critical before Newcastle?
[\quote]
See above.

Failed to explain
Well no but you said and I will quote:

Its partly the reason why Im willing to give Solskjaer time to bring his players in, in the summer and build his team playing the smooth passing game that Molde FK played. It doesn't happen overnight, it takes time, but its amazing when it pays off.
Of course we weren't going to see it straight away but you said to give him time to implement it now moan that he hasn't? How does that even make sense?

Absolute dire in a very important game. If Ole cant get the team pumped up for that what can he get them pumped up for? It was an important game to survive yet we just went down with a whimper. Even the media have said as much. It was embarrassing.

That is irrelevant. Stop going back to the media comments and motivation. I want to know why you were willing to give him time to train his "smooth passing" in the summer but moan that he hasn't implemented it now.
He was stubborn and stuck to 4-4-2 all the time. He had no plan B and was poor at getting us back into games. If he tried something different then maybe we might have done it.

Ferguson stuck to a 442 too and rarely changed things up. Of course Jones aint Ferguson but your tactical argument is nonsense. Ole has tried several formations and we've still been beat. Whats the issue?

No he never. He has admitted he didn't play it as often as people think. I believe Dwight Yorke was on Sky before United's game against Norwich last week, he very much said the same saying one striker dropped in behind making it a 4-4-1-1-/4-2-3-1. The issue is he has no plan B. Rodgers has used 3 different formations this season and it has worked for him so what is your point? Good managers tend to have plan B's.
Because it is an open forum. I will comment on what I like. One thing I won't do is lie about other posters to prove a point. Back up your shoe cleaner remark then you'll have some credibility. But oh no, you will just make false accusations

This coming from a poster who just put 'you think you're god on this forum dont you?'. Its hilarious and just shows your double standards. Fine for you to have a pop but then cry the red sea when others say things to you.

Hardly the same isn't it. You are making a baseless comment, unless you've confused me with another poster I don't talk about Tan so where you got that from baffles me. I said you act like you're god because you think you are above people. You disregard peoples opinions because they are not worthy, you have long winded posts where you act as if you are some football encyclopaedia when in fact you are either contradicting yourself or just repeating yourself. You make multiple threads about leaving then come back the next day, you criticise fans for still going to games yet still post on here about Cardiff while watching them. You just don't make sense.

Wow just wow. We did deserve to lose and we did lose.

I saw a reply from a Newcastle fan.Here`s a quote from him:

How can you all be so negative we fluked a win against the mighty Cardiff. In all seriousness Cardiff are the worst team Iv seen at SJP this season and if they had the slightest bit of quality we would have had a Man U or Everton style result

Kind of knew wed win it some how as son as Campbell put it wide with an empty net to pass it in to after about the 10th minute. Even though we took the lead in my view against the run of play, after Cardiff had 2-3 clear cut chances in the first halfbut lacked the quality to put them away.

The second half started in the same manner with cardiff on top but not doing anything. Then within a 3 minute period Cardiff had 3 chances which would have been easier to score than miss and somehow we clung on for dear life. Lucky as hell to hang onto it if Im totally honest
Then came the next Pardew genius sub with Saylor on for Anita :? which put us further on the back foot but luckily on a break a shot hit a defender and spun up and dropped at Remys feet who seemed to wave goodbye to the fans after putting the ball in the net

I left before the 3rd as it was a terrible game and even though we won couldnt take any joy from it after the NUST attempts at glory stealing took a massive impetus out of the protests and open many fans eyes to the divisions in the fan base.

Funny to see our fans say we deserved to loose but Newcastle fans say we deserved to win.

Hmmmm

Here you go :ayatollah: And its a "sticky" to

[quote]Of course looking at next season, the big question is all about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian has had a tough start to his time in the Welsh capital and many are questioning his suitability for managing the Bluebirds in the Championship.

Personally I like managers to be shown a bit of loyalty and I believe Solskjaer needs to be given the chance to lead the Bluebirds into the next campaign.

For a start, when he arrived at the club he did not come into a great situation.

There was still all the fall out after the departure of Mackay and Solskjaer had to try to hit the ground running.

I spoke to Ole recently and he admitted he had been a bit naive when he first arrived in expecting the players to pick up on his philosophy straight away.

The guy is on a very steep learning curve. He deserves to have a pre-season with his players as well as a chance to shape his own squad this summer.

There is a lot of pain around when a club is relegated and that is only natural, but the Bluebirds must use that pain now to inspire a serious assault on returning to the Premier League as soon as possible./quote]

If they don't respect him thats odd considering he has achieved more than most of them combined in his playing career. They could learn a thing or two from him, like taking your chances and being professional for instance…..

Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer backed by pal Gary Neville to bounce back next season

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been tipped to lead Cardiff back into the top flight.

That’s the verdict of Solskjaer’s ex-Manchester United team-mate Gary Neville after the Bluebirds were relegated on Saturday.

Neville, who played in the same United team between 1996-2007, reckons the Norwegian will bounce back and learn from the mistakes made during his four-month tenure in the Welsh capital.

Neville said: “It will be a huge disappointment for him.

"He wouldn’t have expected this because everything he has done – even when he went into the Molde job in Norway – he has experienced success. This is a big test for him.

“Managers when they start off their careers are going to have setbacks and this will be a huge learning curve for him. But he will respond next season.

“What he does have is the players who have experienced the Championship and that will give them an edge in terms of getting back into the Premier League.

“Cardiff will get back and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will improve and get better as a manager out of the experience that he has had at the moment, even though he looked devastated at the weekend.”

OGS needs to go ...... remember his comments on his very first presser when asked where he thought Cardiff would finish this season ? Answer " as long as its above Swansea " or words to that effect I think . The guy is a plank , clueless and needs to move along !!!

Media wales know jack twiddly about football, if they think Ole should go then he is obviously the man for the job.OLe should be given the chance to build his squad, just like Malky was and Dave Jones .

Re: (Media Wales) ' Solskjaer Must Go This Season '

Wed May 07, 2014 10:08 am

OGS had his chance he was unable to pick a regular 11, motivate the players and was way out of his depth up against other PL mangers tactic wise. The best thing about relegation for me was not to hear him quote Manure`s 1999 CL triumphant comeback against the odds, it was seriously grating for myself personally and probably to his playing staff too. Tan do something right for a change get someone who`s proven capable as as manager not a player in ffs. Faith will always be kept but OGS really stretches all faith we need consistency and experience not a YTS training school apprentice learning the ropes for the No.1 position . :ayatollah:

Madness to sack Ole. He needs a clean slate and a chance to have a full pre season and build his own squad and style throughout the club.
