Actually mate, if you paid more attention instead of looking at it for a second and making a stupid comment like that, you'd see that apart from a few times where we shot up the table (not a bad thing), we were pretty consistent in our league position. More importantly, we were consistantly out of the relegation zone.

The only time the graph heading south is when Tan appointed Ole.

Cobblers

We got off to a good start being the unkown quantity and got 8 points from 6 games. It was downhill from then on as the graph shoes with just 9 points in malkys next 12 games.

We had got sussed out as a team with a poor defence who out pressure on will just whack the ball anywhere, a slow and weak midfield, and a team who couldnt score from open play.

So a manager or a team isn't allowed to go through a bad patch? The fact is, and i'll repeat it again, we weren't in the relegation zone once, apart from the first day. You can tell me as much as you want that we were gonna end up going down under Malky, but im getting bored of repeating myself now, until we actually go into the relegation zone you have no argument. We were where we had to be after half the season was done. That is all you can ask from a manager.

I repeat. Did Arsenal win the league?

What's your point? No, Arsenal didn't win the league but after half the season they were doing well. Only when injuries to Ramsey, Walcott, Ozil, Wilshere etc occured, they started to drop down the league. That's off topic anyway.

Exactly. They didnt win the league although they spent most of the 1st half if the season on top of it.

So just because we werent in the relegation zone after 18 of 38 games doesnt mean we wouldnt have got relegated.

As your graph and my stats show thats where we were heading. 1 point above the zone which you put down to a bad patch  and did you expect that bad patch to improve with 5 of our next 6 away games to Arsenal, Citeh, United, Everton and Spurs.

GET REAL

9 points from 12 games when we played games like:
Arsenal away
Man Utd home
Newcastle (who were playing amazing at the time) home
Chelsea away
Villa away
Stoke away

isnt that bad. Most of our games in the first half of the season were either home against big teams or away against teams around us. Most of which you wouldnt expect to win. So, theoretically, we should've picked up more points in the second half of the season when we played the teams around us at home. How did that go?

You're deluded and just completely stupid. I don't even know why i reply to you

You have the cheek to call me stupid when you have just made probably the most stupid post (apart from sl69) in the history of this forum.

Arsenal was home and you were probably one of the cunts cheering Ramsey when he scored against us.
Newcastle were on a poor run and in the bottom half when we played them and we made them look like Real Madrid. They blew us away 1st half so much for malky difficult to beat eh.
Villa apart from us have the worst home record in the division and for the 2nd season in a row just avoided relegation.
Stoke were on a very poor run when we played them and Malky celebrated a bore draw like he had beaten City at the Emirates.

So you dont expect to win against teams around you because you are away  WTF ?!!??!? What the f**k do exoect 2nd half of the season when going away to all the top teams then :? Should we only think we can win home games against teams around us. 18 points. That will keep us up.

We barely created a chance let alone score, or look like winning against Villa, Norwich, Stoke and Palace in 4 consecutive away games add West Ham to that and thats 5 of the 7 lower half teams we played away under Malky we failed to score against so how you expect we would just roll these teams over at home I dont know.

Youre just a deluded Malkyite who cant face the truth. He soent a fortune and didnt improve the squad and we were goung down whoever was in charge.

No, i dont think we should ONLY get points from teams around us at home. And Malky didn't.
Everton home 0-0
Man City home 3-2
Stoke away 0-0
Hull away 1-1
Norwich away 0-0
Man Utd home 2-2

All good results. Not to mention he fact that we only played 2 teams around at home in the first half of the season, Swansea and West Brom. We won them both. Everyone knows that in your first season in the prem you rely mostly on your home results and also picking up a few points away from home, which is exactly what we were doing.

Like i said. Stop commenting because your deluded and your embarrassing yourself

And yeah i made a mistake Arsenal was home your right about one thing

Norwich 0-0 :laughing5: What a f*cking result. Broke a record for most shots against in the PL didnt we?

Newcastke 1-2
Villa 0 2
Palace 0 2
West Ham 0 2
Southampton 0 3 all over after 30 mins

See I can put scores up too.

You are deluding yourself if you think two scrappy 1 nil wins against Jacks and West Brom would have meant we would win all our home games against bottom half :laughing5: Especially when you consider how shite we were against them away.

Newcastle were bottom half when we played them by the way

Please tell me when i said winning against West Brom and Swansea would mean we would win all our home games against teams in the bottom half. And yes we were shite against them away, and tell me, who was manager then? People like you don't seem to understand that it's not always about playing fancy football. Sometimes you have to grind out results and win ugly, like Pulis did with Palace.

I honestly cant be bothered replying to you anymore, have a nice day

This is so boring to read..Stats presented in that way is nothing but a waste of space in your post..It doesn't mean a thing..

Nothing in that stat shows that the form declined rapidly and our goal diff was 7-21 in Malkys last 12 matches..

If we look at stats we could say that Mutch scored 6 goals in 12 matches..Surely he would scored 18 goals then in 36 cause the stats said he was going in that direction?

Re: The Malky debate...

Mon May 05, 2014 3:15 pm

We all forgetting in EVERY season Malky had as a manager his sides had awful form in the 2nd half of the season? 1 point above the relegation zone with City, United and Arsenal in January despite only picking up about 5 points away from home all season.

We couldn't score, we couldn't stop conceding, we won once every month and created next to no chances. We were only going one way with Malky.

Re: The Malky debate...

Mon May 05, 2014 3:24 pm

all this bottom half at home crap.............he was afraid of every team we played, home or away.......it wasnt the results so much away under Malky,it was the fact we didnt ever attempt to win.....all that gritting teeth and fist pumping at f*cking Stoke ffs......
