Is Maynard still our player? If so, then sell Frazer for a profit, wish him well, and give Maynard his squad number.

we are not comparing apples for apples here.
We will be on the front foot most games and he will get more chances against slower defenders he will score for fun in championship. But, if we get a £5 million offer, we need to snap their fingers off.
Whats the point of the U21 team if we don't find out if Healy can do the job ?

the point is to find a ..special player,,every 2 to 3 years....not to just be giving all of them a go....the clubs know that most boys at academy level have no chance of stepping up but need them to be able to field teams and be a vehicle for the handful that have a real chance.....

If we get anything over 2m that is the best bit of business the club is ever done, shite striker at finishing

Sell up, best for both clubs. Use some of the money to buy Gabban from the cherries and give Mason his deserved game time!

I'm sure Ole can provide another Norweigan bargain, would have loved Elyounoussi but I see he joined Molde after Ole left

I hope he stays, but if he goes go and get McCormack, and will have Maynard back

I forgot to say "well done Fraziers agent" less than 12 hrs
Sun May 04, 2014 5:29 pm
Whatever we do, we must sign one of those British strikers who scores loads in the Championship (Deeney/McCormack/Austin etc)
Sun May 04, 2014 7:11 pm
In my option all the strikers we have can go.
Sun May 04, 2014 7:18 pm
Such a hard worker who would score plenty in the Championship.
Like Earnie though in that he's probably too good for the Championship but noy quite good enough for the Premier League.
Needs too many chances to score and has a terrible first touch.
But has fed on scraps all season. If he goes, good luck to him.

hes not a premiership player, some players really need to find there level in football,

I love Frazers industry, but I don't see a top goal scorer, he is not consistent enough for all his endeavour. I am convinced that we would have got more goals with McCormack or Rhodes up front this season

In fairness Ronaldo would have struggled for us this season.
Squad set up to defend but defensive players who couldn't defend. We had no chance.

Its the mirror, not very reliable.

It's quite sad if that's Malkys best buy.
Sun May 04, 2014 11:53 pm
Sell!
Horrible first touch most of the time, and his finishes is really not good. Works his ass off, but a striker is judged by his score/assist ratio!

650k was the price tag.
I honestly looking over some of the posts again and again because I can't believe how silly some people sound.
He was one out of 2-3 signings in January 2013?
If it weren't for him I doubt we would have been promoted, scored key goals and was finding the net for fun, picked up a few niggles which meant he missed a few.
The goal v Leeds when he wasn't match fit, the double v Bristol and Wolves..
I think fans have short memories because I think we need to blame the managers for his lack of goals.. We played 1 up front for gods knows long and we played it in the Premier League and the midfield hasn't delivered as much as they should.
I sympathise for him, playing up top on his own being under 6ft, doesn't help when you have players like Ben Turner who lump it most games.
He works incredibly hard and people want a 20 goal striker, we got one for the Championship and that's him.
I for one will be quite saddened to see him go as I think he can really offer a lot more for us and he's 26.
If we got offered 5 million or so I wouldn't mind seeing him go.

I know this could mean nothing with footballers and money these days but I am sure Campbell and his girlfriend/wife had a baby boy the other day so the possibility that their settled here for now and his girlfriend/wife don't want to move could play a small factor.. going back up north would be the last thing he would want to do.
Mon May 05, 2014 7:28 am
Sell him. Worked harder than anyone but has fluffed his lines this year in front of goal.

Even though hes from up north

I don't believe the story, he is a great Championship Striker, why would a premier League team want him, he doesn't score enough goals in the Premiership ????
Caulker, Marshall, Medel and Mutch will be the main players Premier teams try to take.....
Mon May 05, 2014 8:51 am
A top level championship striker would cost 5 million. With ole attacking with a pre season and 30% new squad does he really want to be a back up in a relegation premier league squad
Mon May 05, 2014 8:54 am
Campell and Maynard up top will score for fun, With Whits, Noone, Mutch and Daeli in midfield we have a very strong attacking team.

Has Platini got his own way and banned any cintact from next season?
