How do you just 'get rid' of a player?

Tell him he isn't going to be used at all and get his agent to find a club/loan him out

There are ways and means of getting rid of unwanted players.

Not that I agree with it but you make them train with the kids, report for development games but put them on the bench, give them double training sessions, make them travel to away games knowing they are not in the squad.etc.etc.

Theres ways to grind people down who you dont want anymore.

The Simon lappin signing was a total joke, just like that joker milkay

this guy has made 1 and a bit appearances for us...........been here 2 and a half years.......so if he is on 8k a week thats a million pounds..........and unlike Acorn,who was a bit of an unknown quantity, MM knew exactly how NOT good enough this guy was..........

I expect he will retire in the summer after earning all those hard earned wages these last 2 years.

At least in the summer we will be able to get rid of the dead word such as Smith, Lappin and Cowie

Tommy boy is being underutilized by Solksjaer.

On his day he is has the touch of an angel, the agility of a mountain goat and site of an eagle. If you have been down to the vale lately you would see he bangs them in for fun. He is also the life and soul of the changing room, cracking jokes left right and centre.

A shame Ole doesn't see the player we all see, the english pele.

Malky by all accounts was well respected BY ALL the players and I can't imagine him ever treating an individual like that.

Malky was not well respected by all the players, that I can guarantee. Toward the end it was more like 50/50 in the respect stakes.

Every club has them.They're called squad players.We have them at ours.Vazquez,N'Gog,Lamah plus 1 or 2 others.I bet you every club in the league will have threads on their MB's about these type of players.

He was on 25k at QPR which was mentioned around the Oxford pre season game, I would be surprised if he is on 20k mind you.

We are shit and we are going down, under solksjaer. he has had 5 months to sort it out. He hasn't.
