Monk starts next season with more Premier League experience than both Rodgers and Laudrup had when coming to us.

A win today and i think he has the greatest points per game ratio of any Premier League Swansea manager, including the one who is about to win the Premier League trophy with Liverpool. All that with a squad that is about to play its 60th game in the coming weeks.

Out of his depth he certainly is not.

That's nowhere near true.

Rogers got 47 points in 38 games in his one season in the prem with swansea. Winning 31% and 12/38 games.

Monk got 13 points in 14 games so far. Winning 21% and 3/12 games.

Don't let the facts cloud your judgement though.

Incorrect.

Monk has 12 points from 11 games. Win today as he has 15 from 12.

Which is 47.5 points over a 38 games season which is more than both Rodgers and Laudrup.

Dont let facts cloud your riposte though :laughing6:
all this is based on you assuming he would keep on picking up points at the same rate..
Let's just judge it on games already played making you wrong and Walter correct.

I'm including all comps yes, I did say 'so call it,' as obviously no points in cups. I only did it the points way as you were so insistent that it's the points that matter not the win %. It doesn't change the fact he falls way behind in the win % throughout all his games compared with the other 2. Great manager though as you've proven.

Rodgers had experience from working at Chelsea, plus all his globe trotting trips,he was planning on being a manager,as for laudrup, his experience was world wide, but yes nothing from premier league, and look how that turned out

Win % is not important as ive told you.

So you agree if he wins todaynthen he has the greatest points per game ratio of any manager in our premier league history.

Excellent

Stats only gain relevance over an appropriate sample size. 12 games doesn't qualify to extrapolate over a season. If it did then the first 12 games of the season would have shown that arsenal would win the league. Take newcastles last 12 games and it would be the equivalent of 19 points over a season.

It may work out for him but only time will tell. Not a handful of games. Only jacks will care anyway.

More amateur stats from the OP to suit a trolling agenda

im not doing anything of the sort. The "season" is to show how it works out in comparison, the actual stat is the points to games ratio which is a stand alone stat.

If he wins today he has the highest points per game ratio of any premier league swansea manager. Fact.

It may work out for him but only time will tell. Not a handful of games. Only jacks will care anyway.

time has told, he has guided us to a relatively comfortable mid table position. Rodgers only had two thirds od a season more.

amater stats? what are they? Are they stats that go against what you like to portray?

They stat is self explanatory and not made up or fabricated, it is strait forward.

And what is a "trolling agenda"? Trolling is to state something truly shocking to provoke an emotional response.... Is stating a fact really that? Or again have you changed it to simply stating something you wish wasnt true? :laughing6:

I'll stick to my points. Not trying to portray anything other than using a small number of games to extrapolate over a season is flawed to the point of meaningless. Don't expect you to understand though so don't worry.
Hope monk gets the job though. Happy trolling!

I do indeed, however none are displayed in this thread apart from you trying to name call. Funny that.

Either way win today and Monk will have the greatest points per game ratio of any Swansea Premier League manager. Whether you display it over a season, 5 seasons or 12 games - the fact doesnt change.... Not even incorrectly calling me a troll changes it :thumbright:
