That's a good thing by the way however you could see why Tan would have reservations.

They are wearing blue, but not protesting. Well maybe for 60 seconds each game before going back to supporting his creation.

Lets not forget blue are your away colours. To wear what is sold in the club shop is not a protest, but a decision on principle.

Actually, the wearing of the traditional BLUE by so many IS as big a passive protest as the paying supporters can possibly make and is also the least disruptive. It has a highly visible effect and no-one (not even Vincent Tan) can miss the message it sends out to the club's hierarchy AND the footballing world

Many (including me) have always stated that the wearing of the traditional BLUE is the only genuinely viable form of 'protest' unless, of course, you are advocating less savoury and/or more sinister actions? :?

Violence in NEVER an option, the 'marches' have (in reality) had little effect other than to highlight (certainly not resolve) the grievances Cardiff City FC supporters have, and (with a couple of exceptional individuals) the boycotting of games is simply not palatable to those of us who genuinely love the club and can see Tan as the temporary Guardian of our club that he is. That simple FACT (Tan as temporary Guardian) is exactly the same position that any other Owner/Chairman is in (even the much lauded Syr Huw ap Jenkins) and eventually they all leave ;)

Annis quite rightly says that we should be 'concerned' by the non-conversion of "debt to equity" for a number of reasons, most prominent of which is the FACT that he said he would do it some time ago but hasn't, and that it leaves a certain 'uncertainty' surrounding Tan's commitment to the club long-term. It needs 'clearing up' and it needs it done sooner rather than later for the sake of ALL concerned, i.e. owner, Board, other stakeholders and paying supporters

Like I said, it is certainly a display of principle - but it is not a protest. I have never suggested violence, ever. We didnt use violence to get petty out - yet didnt passively watch our club go under either..

As for the debt to equity, it will never happen. Think about it, give a reason as to why it would be done and not simply because he said he would... He said that when the debt to him was £30m and he only owned 40%. He now owns 90% and is owed £100m.

It makes no sense.

Never listened to anything tan said never trusted his word from the off.

Never wanted a rebranded club even if debts were payed off.problem is most people accepted it only on the grounds we would be debt free.
We are not debt free infact tan took over with I think 35 mill debt which we all new was bad then no its up to 120 mill or more with court cases under way for x managers along with the total circus of a way the club is and has been run.

To top it all off we play in red which hurts to my core every time I see it.

Cant wait till tans time is up the sooner the better for me haven't enjoyed the club as I should with him here and my club is in more trouble now then ever before and its deaply worrying times.

Most gave tan a chance you have to eat humble pie now and admit the tit is a disrespectful nutcase who hasn't a clue about football and I mean clueless big time.the business side of the club is being left to run up huge debt and is a ticking time bomb.

Tan out big time for me

The fans don't have to accept it. Tan got his way and we now play in red at home and have a poorly designed badge. This was supposed to be a masterplan to increase awareness and sales in the Asian market. There was never a condition that the fans had to accept it.

So be a man of your word and honourable, convert the debt that is owed to you into equity.

Re: ' Vincent Tan needs to start sorting debt out '

Why does the debt to equity matter apart from another stick to beat Tan with?

The club has a value whether in debt to Tan or in shares owned by Tan.

If anyone wants to buy the club the value remains the same. They buy out the debt to Tan (a bit like Tan did with Sam) or they buy the shares off Tan.

In all honesty the debt is better to deal with as it can be negotiated down just like with Langston. The threat of administration certainly focuses negotiations.

Even if Tan asset strips in order to recoup the debt we still end up where most of us want to be, without Tan and ready to build again.

Protest

That wasnt a protest against Tan. It was a celebration of blue according to the organisers. Any Tan out material was not welcome.

Considering Tan has made it clear you will not be blue under him then its clear that Tan is wanted more than the blue.

Hence why it is not a protest. The fact its been two years and there is still barely a peep says it all.

Yet only the other day you posted on here highlighting a report that Petty had rocks thrown at him using the article to give the impression our protests are pointless but we need to revert to such behaviour.

I didnt agree to anything, i told you i would be happy to close the subject - which I was. I assumed you learned from your mistakes and we would move on.

Since then it seems lessons werent learned at all, you banned people for making up petty things while condemning such actions while continuing to lie and show no remorse for your sickening accusations.

Apologise and I may consider it. But with that apology I would also need you to understand that while im on this board (which is for as long as I see fit) then i wont stand for your nonsense, ever

The fact you cant admit your ever wrong, the fact you keep demanding apologies, the fact you act the big guy behind your keyboard half way around the world, the fact you must have the last say is the best one.

Im here to discuss football. If someone acts like a dick then i tell them, moderator or not, much to your annoyance.

If I was on here to not be serious then the last thing i would do in jest is make up vile things about violent home lives.

The fact is you take it more serious than anyone, hence you feel the need to stoop to the above.
