Why would you take out two quality players and replace them with Cowie and Kev?

Just personal opinion mate, I think Kim should drop to the bench for this game and of Cowie/Bellamy/Zaha I would just prefer Cowie for this game because I think he improves us when he comes inside and lets KTC overlap and be at his best.

McNaughton for Fabio was a tougher call and I can fully understand those who went for Fabio because he had his best game against Stoke, but overall I've not been impressed by him defensively whereas I think Kev is our best defensive full-back at the club still, hence why I'd go for him defending against Adam Johnson. I think Johnson could rip Fabio apart.

Aye I hope Kimbo goes on the bench but for Bellamy or Wilf. Hopefully Fabio and everyone else is on top form :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ole:

With Berget, Dæhli, Campbell and Bellamy changing positions all throughout to confound the Sundy defence. Moved both Dæhli and Fabio to the right side to not break up their partnership, that means John would have to replace KTC, if match fit.

Medel supporting defence, Eikrem ballwinning/ deep playmaker, picking out Dæhi and Bellamy with his passes.

If Sunderland aren't a threat at all in offense, Medel can be subbed out for Zaha, and it'll look like this:

..................Marshall.....................
Fabio..........Cala.....Caulker.........John
.....................Eikrem....................
Dæhli..............Bellamy..............Zaha
..............Campbell...Berget..............

After such a change, Fabio and John would have to play a bit more defensively.

Not Norwegian by any chance are you
Dropping one of our best players of the season and a club legend for two average players

I suppose you mean Mutch, who has been dwindling in performance. Meanwhile Berget has been the architect of 90% of DVP's chances. Eikrem has had enough time to gel and his offensive ability is greater than Whitts.

That is terrible.

No defensive cover, no creativity bar Dhaeli and it'd get overrun in the middle and on the flanks.

The fact you have so much faith in the Norwegians can only be encouraging for us but so far only Daehli really looks up to challenge right now. Given a full pre season and a fresh start to the new season, the other two lads might get the chance to impress but not in our biggest game of the season, would be a bit daft really wouldn't it. :ayatollah: :bluescarf:
