So I don´t think anyone needs to worry (or getting their hopes up); Ole is not going anywhere.

Also, thinking that Ole would agree to be Giggs´ assistant, is somehow ridiculous. What makes Giggs more qualified than himself?

OGS was coach to united strikers then he took over the reserve team. No way would he be assistant to giggs. He has way more experience than giggs. No doubt he would he want to manage united some time in the future but now is not the time. United will be looking for an elite manager after the fiasco with moyes.

David Moyes' reign at Manchester United was ended after senior players went running to Alex Ferguson pushing for a change
David Moyes is on the verge of being sacked as Man United manager
United players are believed to have visited former manager Alex Ferguson pushing for a change after an abysmal season
Ferguson played a major part in appointing Moyes his successor
Moyes is believed to have lost the trust of several senior United players

As David Moyes’s reign unravelled yesterday, tales emerged of senior Manchester United players beating a path to the door of Sir Alex Ferguson’s Cheshire home to urge their old manager to push for change.
The message was clear: they no longer stood by Moyes and neither should United if the empire Ferguson built was not going to continue crumbling, brick by brick.
There was no more staunch a supporter of Moyes than his fellow Scot. After all, it was Ferguson who had called the Everton manager away from a shopping trip with his wife, Pamela, to that same address in Wilmslow to offer him the job last May when the ill-fated legend of ‘The Chosen One’ was born.

Ole is determined to make it as a manager on his own. I doubt he will return to ManU unless he gets Moyes' job..He will stay.

On Tuesday, David Moyes will be sacked as Manchester United manager.

This we knew already and it is confirmed by almost every newspaper in England on their back pages, and some front ones, on Tuesday.

The key points appear to be as follows:

* David Moyes will be replaced in the interim at the Manchester United helm by Ryan Giggs and Nicky But.

* The failure of David Moyes to reach the Champions League means he will be paid off just 4.5 – 5 million pounds by Manchester United – equating to payment of one year’s wages.

* Louis van Gaal has thrown his hat into the ring (on the back page of The Sun) before David Moyes was already sacked. The Daily Mail claim the Dutch coach is “first in line.”

* Jurgen Klopp is tipped to be contacted by Manchester United but it appears the amiable German wants to stay at Borussia Dortmund.

* The decision to sack Moyes was possibly made in February. The Mirror claim some Manchester United players knew about it before the defeat at Everton.

* “Humoyliated” is quite possibly the worst pun EVER!

All the back and front pages relating to David Moyes being sacked as Manchester United manager can be seen below.

I really doubt Ole will leave for a job as an assistant, even if it was Man U. I´m sure Ole is dreaming about becoming a Man U manager one day, but normally clubs don´t make plans that involves a future promotion of an assistant. Promoting the assistant is mostly an emergency solution, but seldom a good idea, as he will struggle getting the right level of respect from the players. So I don´t think anyone needs to worry (or getting their hopes up); Ole is not going anywhere.

Also, thinking that Ole would agree to be Giggs´ assistant, is somehow ridiculous. What makes Giggs more qualified than himself? Spot on  He wants to earn his stripes here to ever getting taken seriously for the number 1 slot an Manure. He seems to get on with Tan and obviously both agree of some view to the future ie next season of how to take the club forward or he never would of took the risk mangaging of relegation threatned newly promoted team without being a long term vision. I think OGS wants to stay here Norwich are within our grasp and eventually knows his best 11 peaking just in time I wonder? Keep the Faith
