What is the point in having 5 in midfield

They started stringing passes together and gained a lot of possession in the last part of the second half then played a 10-0-0

Rubbish. The posession was same 2nd half as the first. 67/33.

Do you really expect to go away to a footballing side like Southampton and equal or better their posession?

We set up to make it difficult and stay in the game and have a go later on and the plan worked to perfection. Yes we rode our luck on a few occasions and Marshall was excellent when called upon but thats to be expected going away in this division especially to a top 10 club.

Well done Ole and the lads. Some pride restored.

Playin 5 in the midfield in the first half was a pointless exercise because we kept giving the ball to Southampton and we couldn't pick out any passes - there was no one in the box when we were up the field so I was quite right to criticise those tactics - from the feedback on the game from other post just about everyone feels the same

Accept I'm right or don't, enjoy the win and stop posting rubbish
