Liverpool fans who turned up drunk and without tickets allso should hold there head in shame as they allso are to blame.
But what does piss me off about all this is that we here about how Liverpool fans want justice and many charities are set up to rais cash for the families, but never do we here about any money from any of the charities or club its self going to the families of the 39 Italian fans who died due to Liverpool fans rioting in hysel.
Convenient of them to forget that when they make out how hard done by they are.

Pathetic if true. Twitter said minutes silence was observed impeccably.
If true the idiots who did it should be banned.

Watching it on tv you could hear chants of blue army and the camera zoomed in on Bellamy who was looking at the fans in disgust
As I said it was at the start for about 10 seconds then they piped down

However we dont mourn any other disaster year on year ie the bradford disaster, those killed in heysel, munich.etc
It's not a case of mourning, This is still news because the story goes on, people are still trying to get the truth, reveal the corruption and identify those responsible and then get those responsible to ace justice.
Bradford = poor maintenence, poor stadium, lit cigarette = accident case closed
Heysel = idiot supporters, wall = accident case closed
Hillsborough = cover up, fight to reveal the truth, corruption = case still open = still in the news
If you think it is because of that, then lets have an inquest about the absoute bollocks that was the Gulf war or maybe Vietnam??.
It is because it is about football and football sells papers, that is all.

All personal losses are tragic, yours included.
What made Hillsborough unique was that there were 96 families' worth of personal losses, all entirely avoidable, and the blame was put on their innocent friends and families.
It is very difficult to put a time frame on how long is reasonable to grieve a loss. But considering they only truely began achieve justice in their fight for the truth last year, I think it entirely reasonable to still be publicising Hillsborough.
I will give you an example - I am in my 20s. My dad grew up not that far from Liverpool. When he first told me the story of Hillsborough, he told it in a way that revealed he subconciously thought the fans were to blame. He kept using terms like 'fans turned up late' and 'pushed towards the front' - This is not because my dad is a heartless person, a bad man, a bitter, twisted individual who hates Liverpool. It is because the first hand press coverage he was exposed to reported it that way. It was because the police reports were released in that way. And there is an entire generation of people who's first exposure to Hillsborough was that it was 'liverpool's fault.
All that enables my generation to hear the truth about Hillsborough is the press coverage the football community and the family are giving to it. i only know the truth about Hillsborough because the families and the Liverpool community are fighting for the truth and fighting for publicity and for justice.
I get that it can get quite irritating at times, but I will never criticise those who keep asking for it to be respected.
BTW apart from the odd few (couldnt tell whether they were ours or southamptons) was really glad to see how well the minute silence was respected yesterday!)

Some of them have learned nothing and anyone who thinks it was a total cover up and that no Scousers were to blame needs their head checking. Yeah, it was a terrible disaster but it should be left in the past now and in football terms be acknowledged with a minutes silence once a year.

This post is why I asked who do you support. You sound as if you support someone else.
You make a ignorant comment like 'Cardiff fans' - plural, to mean all Cardiff fans, even though you are one?.
