Our losses were a incurred as a result of promotion in BONUSES to players , if we hadn't have gone up we wouldn't have lost money , God you lot have got the club you deserve

I'll repeat your WAGES ARE 185% OF YOUR INCOME , thats not down to bonuses mate thats mismanagement

You're just jealous your club can't afford to spend 185% of turnover on wages :ayatollah:

Waddle its ok Aramore has a cool sense of humor ..He is not being serious.

I'd love for that to happen. Take the hit and move on. In a minority though.

I will join your minority Baz. I want us to do it the proper way. How satisfying would it be to start from scratch and build things up slowly into a strong club with sensible decisions every step of the way?

In all honesty waddle those stats terrify me purely because our players are clearly nowhere near good enough to get that sort of wages.

If we'd bought a bunch of premier league standard players last year it wouldn't be so bad as it would mean less spending at present but the majority of those players are clearly nothing more than good championship players.

No wonder Tan is so upset by Malky's use of the budget.

You paid £8.2m+ in bonuses?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-sout ... s-16689224

That's obscene if true but it's not. Truth is, you gambled for promotion as much as we did.

We have no control over the clubs spending, I wish we would run at a break even but we don't. Don't pretend the situation would be any different if reversed, you have as much control as we do over what the board do.

It isnt all bonuses.

It can be contractual agreements with clubs that are triggered by promotion. For example we initially bought Scott Sinclair for 500k, but on promotion we had to pay Chelsea another £1m - which contributes to the loss.

If we didnt go up then we wouldnt have had to pay that money, or indeed the promotion bonuses. But on promotion it is payed out of the sky money, so it is not wreckless at all. I think bonus payments were £5.8m if memory serves and spread out equally amongst the players that played a part. 25 players all had around £230k each.

You however paid 189% of turnover to wages regardless of if you went up or not.

Hi Roath, Along with yourselves , do you honestly and truly want Cardiff to survive the PL drop? I am just interested how you feel of my club in general. What would you ideally love to see for both Cardiff and Swansea over the next 5 years?

Dont know, im torn.

On one hand, I want you to stay up because it will be good to have a welsh presence in the Prem, players like John can develop for Wales, the derby is great fun....

But then it makes financial sense for me to want us to be the only club in the Prem in a 100 mile radius or whatever it is.

So that side of it (relegation/survival) I will just allow to play out and then be happy with whatever outcome fate delivers.

On your club. As a football fan, and one that has experienced a tyrant at the helm. I want you guys to take your club back, get rid of the nonsense ethos you have had for over a decade and start becoming self sufficient. To spend nearly double the clubs income on wages is a model for disaster as without loans to the tune of 90% on top of total income you CANNOT operate. Thats terrifying for you guys - truly.

As for us, i just want us to continue growing as a club on and off the field. We dont need to be the best in the league or become a major global brand - just happy to continue growing bit by bit.

I think you are an okay Jack. You talk a lot of sense from what I have read in the threads. I am glad you want Cardiff to take our club back start afresh. To be honest the whole "sleeping giant" attitude is embarrassing.

I want us to play attractive football and become admired and renowned in Europe and further afield. I don't want us to be hoofballers. I want us to pass the ball with creativity accuracy and effectiveness. I want our club to be in cont5rol, make wise choices on and off the pitch and whoever needs to depart and is hindering that from happening then say bye bye. I want us to recognise the positives , hold onto them and keep building and adding to them slowly until we are seen as a team worth watching and respecting.
I wish Swansea and my team the best of luck for the final run in

For that, then Tan simply has to go.

However everyone seems to hate the thought of not having a chairman that will write cheques at will while sticking the club in major debt. The "ride" of the Premier League and the kudos that comes with it is far more important than the club to many of your fans which is why even the protest before the liverpool had a stern "no comments about Tan" directive.

It was a show for the cameras and to tap eachother on the back to say "at least we tried". Firmly believe that.

Until you guys get some collective bollocks and take your club back by the scruff of the neck then this will be like groundhog day, if not with Tan then the next fella, and the next, and the next. The sad thing is, it doesnt seem like many want to.

Well I am one that wants it. I don't understand why other Bluebirds don't want it. I want Tan out. He is playing with My club and honestly doe snot deserve to be the owner. It should be a labor of love or a privilege to own a PL club but he has little to no respect for us. Maybe because we have been guilty of having very little respect for our club and trying to fast track success at whatever cost.
I agree Tan needs to go and yes the protest at Liverpool seemed a little bit limp wristed.

take the blinkers off lads.im a fan of neither club but i know what model i want tblues to follow when we get rid of the chinaman and his lackies eventually .swansea are prob the best run club in the country.w.b.a are run well too.swansea have more hands on fans involved though.185% of income is crazy.then to alienate the fan base so they wont buy merchandise is the icing on the cake.get the madman out your club a.s.p
