Jack, Ive been told its a lot more than that.

You thought the bird on the badge was going to be red and brought the news on to here and you were proven wrong, Jones is on 45k a week and Zaha 60k. Zaha is going back to United anyway and we'll be rebuilding a team. I don't think anyone can justify Cornelius on 45k and Smith on 30k

But the bird on the badge is red for a lot of the staff and it is for the summer sports wear, a fact.

It's just a variation of merchandise, the bluebird is still blue in the media and everywhere else

And the bird is and always will be BLUE for me  How about u ?

Tommy Smith cost 300 grand.

Zaha cost 1.5million aswell as a 60 grand a week deal. That is laughable seeing as he may not even play again. Just shows how pathetically biased you are, defending total shit signings like that. If Mackay made those two signings you'd be all over him for it.

And 3 million was made back on cornelius.

And the Jones transfer cost us Peter O

Annis you seem to get told alot but never back it up with actual facts/evidence. even it is 60k between them, thats nearly the same amount of.cornflake who just sat round scratching his arse. atleast jones and zaha have contributed.

That was Tans decision. Shame he is so stupid as to undersell someone. CSKA Moscow bid the same as us a few months ago.

Copenhagen are thought to have paid in the region of just £3m for Cornelius, who is understood to have agreed to drop back down to his original salary of £6,000 per week, having been on a reported £45,000 at Cardiff.

How in anyway is that embarrassing? We came 1st.

Must be some peoples time of the week, constant moaning about previous management instead of blaming the retard we have in charge now.

Then you moan about people talking about Malky and Moody

60k for Zaha and 45k for Jones

You may try to find an excuse for Solksjaer, but good grief, have an unbiased view for once.

A loan player at United is clearly gonna cost a lot lmao

It's not even 60 a wk, it's 30k. Cardiff are paying 100% of his man utd wages, not 200% :thumbright:

Malky does his dossier from youtube compilations, I have been reliably informed on this from someone inside the club who was close to malky.

Tan malky and moody looked like fools over some of the signings.

Re: Cardiff top wages table

Wed Apr 09, 2014 11:21 pm

I cannot understand why Malky gets blamed for high wages.

As manager of the club Malky should have identified the players he wanted and then wages negotiations and transfer fees should be negotiated by the money men at the club.

If indeed Malky did arrange all transfer fees and wages, something he is NOT qualified to do, then the blame purely rides with the owners and their representatives. Tan and Lam.

I just cannot fathom those who point the finger at Malky without stopping and thinking about it first.

not really we earned 160 yes but most of that would of gone on wages player budgets etc and I duno about how higher wages will be now with ole and 7 new players, the sale of cornelieus opened up 45k wages and I doubt the norweigns are on much only jones maybe on high wages, could work out even

You dont have to be either to know that if a company is spending 189% of its income on wages then it is a disaster in waiting.

PartyWithOle wrote:The fact that an unsuccessful squad is on such high wages?

How the fook can you say winning the league and getting promoted, which delivered stupid amounts of millions, was unsuccessful???

What you've done there was compare the wages against what was paid in the Championship and then compared the performances of that played in the Premeir League. Very unfair to do that don't you think.

Compare like for like:

Championship against Championship wages and performances - Yes wages were higher but the results and profit was massively better than anyone else in the Championship.

In the Premier League wages and performances - Do you really want to compare with Man U, Chelsea etc, etc??? Cardiff wages in the Prem are comparably very low. Performance wise - under Malky they averaged 1 point per game (which over a season is enough to keep you up). Under Ole I think the average is more like 1 point per season.
