The evidence for the prosecution is very iffy ,I've been watching it today and I think the guy is an arse but I don't think he murdered her but he's just very paranoid guy who's made a massive mistake

my grandfather lived in south africa (near durban) for about 30 years and was even married to a zulu woman, this didnt even help him. the fear of violence, theft and death are very real every day and he even had a torrid time being despite being old white man married to a local traditional and well respected woman. its quite terrible out there so much so he refused to let me fly out there to stay and visit.

regardless he is of course guilty as hes said so himself. whether itll be accidental or not is another thing. im still not sure on it myself, i agree with previous that surely youd tell if your mrs is in bed with you etc.

Time had barely moved on for the tribes in africa though.

Its not as bad as you're making out anyway. My sister lives in Kenya and there's no issues between blacks and whites whatsoever. Only fighting she has ever seen was tribal.

It may be different between countries but ZImbabwe is boardering on Nazi Germany in terms of supressing a race.

thats because of Mugabe, not the people in general

It wasn't Mugabe I saw on the news burning out the white farmers. It was the black people who worked on the farms. Can't wait for a do folder to ask me for money for Zimbabwe.

To just fire into a toilet is just nonsense.

Pointless statement as we live in a country with completely different attitudes and laws to do with firearms. Completely different societies with contrasting views on life.

Like the way they try to survive, and we think about buying Ipads.

thats totally beside the point though.

if you think there is an intruder locked in your bathroom and you are stood next to, or close to the bed, its a normal human reaction to check your wife/partner is there surely?

But let's not forget Paul, he got out on his stumps, so he may not have been able to see his wife was on the bed or not ????? - SORRY COULD NOT RESIST IT !!!!

Personally taking into account his violent outbursts when he was beaten by another paraolympian, his rich boy buys anything status, the chip on his shoulder for being disabled, the text's read in court today proving that he did not like Riva wearing sexy clothes, she asked his permission for what to wear points to a controlling jealous boyfriend, Plus the texts she sent to him saying sometimes she was afraid of him.

Plus, as you say, you would check on your Mr's first, especially sleeping in the same bed -

NO, obviously you have to be part of the jury to know all the facts (oh, hang on there is no jury? only a judge who makes the decision) but I would say, from what I have heard and read, on the balance of probabilities - HE'S GUILTY AS F-CK . But I wouldnt mind betting that someone nobbles the Judge and he gets away with Murder !!!!

If you heard a noise while in bed the first thing you would do is check to see if your partner was in bed with you FFS!!

The guy has massive anger issues. I'm not saying he doesn't regret doing it. I mean, we've all had FIFA rage or Football Manager rage where we've gone nuts after a defeat and smashed a controller or piece of furniture... but then we immediately think "f**k, why did I break that?!"... I guess he's just had a bit of FIFA rage... except he's used a gun... on his missus.

Pistorious has the money to afford one of the best defence lawyers in the world. It's no surprise the lawyer has broken a witness or two. That's his job. The witnesses aren't experienced or professionals. I don't know the full ins and outs of this trial but I've kept up to date with it. I did study forensic linguistics and body communication in uni so I like to think I have a rough idea on how body language and chat is used in a court room to influence certain things. I definitely felt certain parts of Pistorius' actions were faked to win favour with the court but I could be wrong.

In my eyes the guy is guilty though. Like I said, I'm not saying he doesn't regret killing Reeva but I definitely think he did it. His account of that night just doesn't add up and given the circumstances his story is the only plausible story that would come close to explaining it... even though it still sounds quite unbelievable.
