Watched the game again last night, and I was a bit surprised to find that Zaha actually wasn´t that bad. Maybe we just had too high expectations, but he had several good involvements, and I don´t understand where the idea is coming from that he didn´t put in an effort. Ok, he didn´t do the ayatollah, but there is something to this, you know, when having a gang shouting at you "stand on one foot, stand on one foot", there might be a part of you rejecting.
Another surprise was to find that Jones was one of the better city players. Difficult not being biased when watching football; you like one player, and you find yourself focusing on the good side of his game; you dislike a player, and suddenly you only see the bad.
