Where has Natman Blue gone

Anyone who believes that the reason Natman Blue has been banned was for saying that someone told him mods could read everyone's PM's is extremely naive, and moderators pretending this is the reason for him being banned are treating all other board members as fools.

I personally don't like being accused of reading other peoples private messages. Would you?

I can tell you now though, that PMs on any forum software are only able to be read by the sender and recipient.

PM's can be read Barry as they are stored in the server's database. Anyone with access to the server (admin and some mods) are able to read them even if deleted from your inbox. It is technically an invasion of privacy and could end up with legal action if proved.

I dont believe it has happened on here though.

Craig, with the correct software you can 'bring back' deleted files off your PC which are saved in the DAT which is how so many criminals get caught so I have to concede you are probably correct.

But I can tell you for absolute certainty that no moderator has access to the server so therefore cannot read pm's.

The only two administrators are myself and Owain and I can tell you that I do not know to access them through a database and I absolutely certain that Owain doesn't and wouldn't.

And as to Annis he struggles to put a picture on the message board and doesn't have access to what Owain has, he couldn't even out his own Avator on here

With the amount of traffic this forum gets, you're always going to get one nut case that takes things too far and takes things too seriously.

If he wants to point his solicitor in my direction I will gladly explain that no moderator is able to read PMs.

By logging into the database directly there's a possibility that text files could be viewed but that would probably mean going through a million plus records. Besides, nobody else is able to access this so it's a non starter.
