I would argue that DJ was more successful but that's a debate for another day. Both left when their time was up though.

I appreciate that Malkys football was not the best to watch on the eye but I agree with Annis that Malky would have kept us up if he had been left alone!!

What has Ole achieved to date????? A win over Norwich and Fulham!!! A battering off the Jacks and Hull!!!

In Malkys time we achieved a Carling cup final (which we nearly won) and play offs!!

2nd season we achieved automatic promotion!!

3rd season we beat Man city, Swansea and held Man Utd to a draw!!

I think Dave Jones was right about our fans when he said "you could bring Champions league football to this part of the country and they would'nt be happy"

I would say todays cardiff is a joy to watch and is very much showing progression, despite not getting the wanted results.
Where did malky lead us the first season, and what did you think of him then? 45 millions later still playing hoof balls.
Thank good for entertaining football :ayatollah: :ole:

Results are what matters, no matter what u say, a fact. If they are not and are we are relegated, then if your right then City will get 28,000 plus crowds no matter what next season

Why do you expect 28,000 in the Championship? We played attractive football in the Champ under DJ and got 25k max

I think that's his point. It doesn't matter style of football you play, it's results and the league you're in that bring in the crowds.

Yeah but the style of play wouldn't have kept us up anyway. It was boring and incredibly frustrating throughout in the Championship. For example, we drew a crowd of only 19k vs Hull, a promotion contender last season, 19k again vs Boro. The football was shite, the re-brand and pricing is gonna affect our crowds next season if we're in the Champ. The football is decent

Exactly, and quick to forget where we were two years ago in this exact day. We did it then, and might do it now, but people was shouting the same bs. Why learn anything from history and our own mistakes? But the style of play didnt progress, it is doing so now. In :ole: i trust, and may cambell get his lucky boots on

SPOT ON Alex, its a disgrace the way some of Tans followers slam Malky.

What about the way some of the anti tan supporters treat Tan?

He financed our clubs financial future, he financed premierbleague football, he has given multiple charities money, financed a stadium increase, financed a new training ground, backed both managers with transfer funds. If your argument is "all the money was loan notes" then you can't argue that Sam Hammam got the ball rolling on our journey - because all of that was loan notes too.

There is a huge agenda on this board against tan - the most recent being a sticky with something along the lines of Vincent tan corruption without any kind of evidence at all.

That's a good point. If we weren't constantly getting pro malky posts which are being used nothing more than as a stick to beat Tan with then maybe you wouldn't constantly get the comments of how people don't rate Malky I.e don't dish it out if you can't take it

That is very debatable. I think we probably would be down already if Malky had stayed. I know you will say that we weren't in the relegation zone under Malky but Sir Alex couldn't have kept us out with the run of games Ole had.

Agree with that( I didn't want him sacked) , when you compare the budgets Dave Jones worked wonders on a shoestring budget, if he had been given the money Malky had then maybe we would of gone up under him.

I remember last season you said we'll be guaranteed to get big crowds vs the top clubs but our attendances will go down to 20k etc for the games against Stoke and that, yet we had a 26k attendance vs Norwich and have sold out vs Palace, gotta be regretting doubting our support Annis

I will give u some facts about this season.
Rem we already have 22,500 Season tickets because we are Premier League.
Next Season at this current moment it is not 13,000 as some say, its less than 12,000 so far

10% of season ticket holders did not turn up for Norwich,Fulham,Villa,Hull C, West Ham,WBA home 2,500 fans approx
5% of season ticket holders Newcastle 1,250 fans never turned up.
3% of season ticket holders did not turn up for Swansea home 700 fans approx
