Cornelius scored hatrick and yeah odemwingie has scored 4 since leaving cardiff. that is excellent as he only scored 2 with us? Cornelius scored zero with us (unless you count the friendly goal)

Pre season friendly against some shit Czech team.

He struggled to score against development teams, didn't even look comfortable on the pitch with our kids mate..

I honestly do believe Cornelius will come back to teh premier league and prove many wrong. He never had the chance to prove himself at Cardiff. When he signed i bought my red jersey with his name on back. It may be worth a lot one day when he has teh stage and freedom to prove himself. I wish got him to sign the shirt before he left

Odemwingy is a decent player but malky brought him in to play target man it seemed which was plain stupid. Ole seen we already had players like him and went for a different type of player.

Both rightly moved on.
Neither should have been bought.

How many more goals do you think stoke will get out of Odemwingie? He is on 4 already. I think he will be on more goals with stoke than frazier by the end of the season.

Yes because they the right type of player in crouch alongside him. We had cornelius to do that but malky wanted to rest him for 2 years lol.

So if Odemwingie was not suited to our setup, then why did we buy him?

Exactly we shouldn't have.
Odemwingy interview after he left said he wasn't used correctly and he wasn't a target man, who can disagree. Only malky maybe but he still thinks cornelius was a good buy.

Not saying he won't.. In the future.. Wouldn't of been any good for us we bought him 2 years to early IMO

So if you are saying cornelius was bought two years too early, that makes sense because Malky wanted to keep him for the future so malky was right to invest in him for the future. So why so many people think Cornelius was wrong for us if he was one to be developed for Cardiffs future? And whats the point in then selling him if he was intended for the future.

On 8mill 45k a week? Maybe pick up Bendtner on free transfer on, what was he asking? 90k a week? They sure make some money in Denmark.

REASON WE'RE GOING DOWN IS COS MALKY WASTED 8M ON A STRIKER WHO SCORED THE MOST GOALS IN A LEAGUE THAT WAS WRAPPED UP FOR MONTHS AND WANTED A BIT OF WONGA FOR HIMSELF

HOPE THIS HELPED.

Glad you wrote that in caps, came across alot clearer.

If he was on 10k a week and here to develop then yeah keep him, I thought from day one right until he left he would come good and stuck blindly by him..on reflection I woke up and realised he was out of his depth.

Malky/Moody should NEVER of paid what they did in transfers and wages for him.

Tan wanted to get rid of Cornelius to prove a point against Malky

Its not a coincidence that OGS came out with a big statement about how they were going to get the best out of Cornelius (remembering that OGS was the person who originally tipped Cornelius to be a top footballer) and then a week later Cornelius is sold with almost no publicity sent out by the club

As for Odemwingie - I just dont think he fitted into the team

Re: Cornelius and Odemwingie Compulsive selling?

Malky on times looked like he gave at least 3 of our players free roles in games. Odemwingie was one of them.

You could question whether Cornelius was good enough for premier league but why get rid of Odemwingie? (an excellent striker with much prem experience) And now look at both players knocking the goals in for fun at other clubs.

My Opinion is that Cornelius is more than good enough and if Ole gave him one on one coaching , he could have scored at least 6 or 7 for us by now. Personally I think If Ole was with us from the beginning of season, Cornelius would be in the top 5 scorers up there with sturridge , Yaya and Hazard!

It upsets me to see players and their talent gone to waste at our club. I was at first upset with Odemwingies commenst after joining Stoke and I thought he was talking out of his backside but over the past few weeks stoke has proved to us that we never used Odemwingie properly.

I think those two compulsive sales will be the reason we go down.

With a user name like yours I feel you are mainly fishing for a bite. City are now scoring for fun as well so unless either player mentioned can play in the back 4 I'd say we don't need them.

Nothing wrong with my name..Unless of course you have a problem with Cardiff fans making their own preferred choices? Which I guess you are.
We are scoring for fun? Yes we are also Shipping goals for fun to! Stoke are not though.
