A few times someone tried to get an anti-tan chant going and they never took off, the chants were mainly pro-blue and pro Cardiff City.

Don't think it bothers him in the least to be honest, at the end of the day he's the owner and he calls the shots. Doug Ellis endured years and years of abuse at Villa, he just used to laugh it off and tell the fans they could buy the club off him anytime as long as they had the money, if not he'd do what he thought was the best for the club. I just wonder who is planning on what to do if the march fails to have the desired effect, anyone trying to find someone who could afford to buy him out and getting in touch with them, or will it be more marches, or perhaps boycotts of matches?

Completely missing the point

How am I missing the point, I'm just querying if there is a plan B if plan A falls on deaf ears, will it be more marches, scarf waving, boycott's, enquiries to millionaire's trying to get them on board, perhap's trying to get sponser's to pull out. History show's that protests don't seem to make a lot of difference to owner's, I quoted Doug Ellis at Villa, but there was the lot at Man Utd and they just rode it out, not to mention the Venky's at Blackburn, been hated by the fans for a few years now but still there. It is just possible that VT could be different to those I've mentioned, who knows. Just to let you know, I'm not against marches and I'm not into arguments about numbers, to me if people wish to do that and it let's them release their frustration at the current situation then that's there right, I'm just interested if there are plans to do anything else.

I think the march was a show of blue, a demonstration that our local heritage can't be wiped out by a billionaire from a dictatorship half way across the world. To me the march wasn't aggresivbely requesting that he left, Why would a show of blue make VT leave? Are you suggesting that we stop talking about blue and pander to the whims of a dictator until we can save up to buy the club ourselves? I personally believe 'red or dead' was a scare strategy that wasn't ever lightly to happen.
Why i think the Doug Ellis link is missing the point, by all accounts VT is on a Public relations mission for Malaysia PLC, this sort of negative attention on the world stage will presurise him within Malay high society. I could be wrong with that reasoning but that's the general consensus among fans and writers.

I wouldn't suggest that people should stop talking about blue, or protesting for it if that's what they wish to do,but VT has always said and even said on his last interview that for as long as he is here the club will be red. If that is true then the only way to get back blue is by VT leaving, and to do that a new owner is required with the money to buy him out. I doubt that VT bought Cardiff City as a public relations mission for Malaysia PLC, and negative attention of Cardiff City certainly wouldn't pressurise him in Malay high society, although backing down and changing the colour might. A change in government in Malaysia would affect him far more.
