Agreed a few missing would not have missed but if the very ones who came up with the idea weren't there to take part then some on here would be complaining of them being hypocritical. Read on another post that all parties will meet at a more convenient time in the future so there is no harm done.

Now do you get it

Yes,that is the right way but not in ten mins,a lot needs to be said and the way feelings are,it's more like ten hours needed rather than 10 mins

I don't see what there is to discuss.......

It's not the 1970's around the TUC conference table. We want blue back. Tan will see any blue as a climb down, so whats the point.... Shall we compromise on green !!!!

Tan wants adulation, yesterday was the total reverse, and quite public......

We crossed the Rubicon yesterday, it will get messy from now on, but it was always was going to be. Total capitulation was a price not worth paying.

llan, a few honest things I want to ask;

Where is this opinion of Tan that have informed from? I.e. why is it you think that Tan is wanting adulation or that a perceived 'climb down' would be as such and if so be such an issue for him. What I am asking here is on what basis do you form this opinion?

Say if your opinion of Tan is correct. Would a price worth paying be the extinction of the club?

If so, what then gives your views any priority or precedence over another's who is quite happy to support the club regardless of colour?

Nat,

IMO - Tan has stated he is going to donate half his fortune to charities and handed out cheques to local charities like confetti early during the season. These are openly public, they don't have to be. He is a good guy and wants the world to know it......

During his first interview he repeated "if the fans are nice to me" a few times. Just look at the happy birthday video from his employees last year, his executive team must have known he would like it. He just wants to be the head of one big happy family.....Its not unnatural.

I don't believe 90% of the press leaks about Tan, but I can see with my own eyes he wanted to be associated with the success on the pitch more as last season went on.

He very recently and deliberately and defiantly stated we would not be going back to blue unless someone bought him out.... Not sure what may be ambiguous about that...

As for the extinction of the club, for many that has happened.
Tan bought us for the opportunity to make money, as so many foreign owners have through buying a medium/large sized championship club, but they love the world wide kudos and publicity being an owner of a premier league brings.

Tan has found out the new "replacement" fans only wanted a season or two watching the premier league. Season ticket sales are well down, I don't think that many traditional fans have left, so the wall of defiantly OTT Blue will continue with more vigour next season.

IMO- If we change back to blue it will not be because Tan sat with Sian and Annis for a cuppa, it will be a decision made entirely by Tan on Tans terms..... Yesterdays stand will count against us, he wouldn't like that.

He was going to make money or get bored. I believe the red was to entice another investor or purchaser to come on board. The IPO was always a risky option, Man u barely succeeded.

No idea what will happen next, but relegation will be interesting.
