I bet you they do not mention the Gerrard second booking, the Sturridge dive, the fact that we had two players off the pitch for their third goal or the foul by Suarez for their last goal.

They will be too busy creaming themselves over the Liverpool win. We'll be lucky to get a mention other than to say we look doomed.

:old: Match of the Day highlighted the bias of the programme. No mention of Gerrards booking/sending off and the possible fouls on at least 2 of their goals. And did Sturridge just fall over ?

No analysis except for how well S and S played together, which they do every week.

Wasn't Suarez offside for his first goal ? definitely offside when the ball was played through before the pass to him, and he never returned to being onside as only Liverpool players were between him and the goal line (debatable if john played him onside, but they could have debated that) A goal changing moment of the game.

The goal when we only had 9 men - our trainers were very naive when 2 of them came of to treat 2 players. They should know the players must leave the pitch if they come on, even if they receive no treatment. Very silly to do it at a corner too. They came on far too quickly.

There was no need for 2 trainers to RUSH on. No one was seriously hurt. they should have known the rules, realised it was a corner and stayed off.

And cala's defending for the last goal was f*cking comical, be aggressive and suraez bounces off him

I am guessing you are a woman - If a football hits a blokes bollocks at speed he goes down - no question about it

Just comical towards the end of that game. Why is it that everytime we play a game, we go home frustrated with the referees? Refereeing standards in this country is awful. It needs to be improved drastically by the FA.

Apologies to the City training staff if I've been a muppet.....probably the other trainer was the Liverpool trainers helping out ?

in which case Mutch should definitely have been left on the pitch. Just by common sense of the referee.
1. it was an opposition trainer who came on
2. Probably not invited to assist
3. He was not treated by any trainer - the rule the trainer came on the pitch should surely be ignored in this instance

Let's blame the ref but ignore all our defensive mistakes

1 - cala let skirtle get goal side of him for their second

2 - piss poor defending for the third from the corner and what the f**k was medal doing, if he'd watched the ball instead of trying to kick lumps out of suraez then he would have cleared it off the line

3 - Sturridge left our midfield and defence for dead for his tap in

4 - and don't start me on cala for the last goal, stay strong and suraez bounces off him

But yeah it was the refs fault

some of our defending was poor
but the ref should have sent gerrard off for a 2nd bookable offence
how can a ref belonging to the lancashire fa ref a lancashire club
