' The Media on tomorrows Protest/Demonstration '

3,000 is a good turn out, Is it too many for the club to ignore or reds on here to dismiss? will it be 3,000? Any organisers have an esitmation, Pressure on Cardiff fans with media watching.............

Personally i think the Demo should be purely about blue and not about Tan, As i think many more will 'march' on this premiss. I will not be going after recieving intimidation earlier this week, instead i'll be taking my family to the beach for a nature run.

The local and national media will be watching with avid interest so an excellent chance to shoot ourselves in the foot.
No abusive or racial chants have been requested by the organisers..but can all and sundry refrain from shouting abuse at our owner? If judging by some of the comments that can be read on here on a daily basis the answer would imo be no.
A few bevvies and a minority may start some of these anti Tan chants and it could spread, how will the organisers deal with this scenario?..ask the culprits to kindly leave the march or will more heavy handed tactics be required?
Hopefully none of this shit will happen, but several hundred or maybe more people gathered together all with a dislike of red and a lesser amount of people with a dislike of red AND Tan out on a mission and with a point to prove could prove difficult to police.
I'm sure the media will relish the prospect of strong anti-Tan undercurrents as a bit of Tan bashing sems to go down well in the press.
I know this is a negative post regarding the march and I sincerely hope my suspicions are way off the mark but I do have my worries.

We live in a democracy where people as long as not breaking any Public Order Act, such as Incitement to Racial Hatred (1986), are entitled to express an opinion, such as, Tan is a W*ANKER etc, even if we strongly disagree with the content. I for one will never be upset over someone else's opinion if I do not share it. It is a good thing this country allows us this privilege.

If you want to continue telling people what they can & can't do, marry a Russian bird & see if you can get a job in their Police Force, you can clamp down on the students calling for Putin to leave office im sure the good sex will make up for it though, Russian girls are hot!

Ain't telling nobody what to do my friend..everybody to his own, was just making a point that anything other than a return to blue march and our friends the press and media (they do love Cardiff fans) will be on it like a dose of salts.
They'll make us sound like a bunch of braindead morons and you know that's what they'll do, enjoy the march and shout and sing anti Tan songs till yu hearts content, then settle down and enjoy the game.

If the Tan abuse starts and the protest turns abusive,watch how quick the media turn on the fans. With the club playing a blinder by offering to talk, anything other than a peaceful protest will be seen as disruptive or ulterior motive driven. The media dont care about colour, only the bettet story. The anti rebrand stance is growing. Keep it peaceful or it may well be the final nail in the coffin with Tan hammering it in.

No apology. The club dont want to know and the stance wont change but by "offering" to talk they are making themselves out to be willing. Its called spin and is only happening because of the media. They have put the pressure back on the march to deliver what has been promised and when the Tan out/abuse starts the club will withdraw its "olive branch" on the grounds of the abuse. They win. Craig, there's no need for name calling, constantly you try and straddle two camps with wordings of pro blue, clashing with contradictory actions in favour of the status quo, I.E red & all the accompanying ridicule, Craig, it's time for you to accept that your behaviour isn't helping us retain OUR identity this makes you pro-red, even now you're attempting some weird illusion of claiming the media attention of a march isn't related to the march, because the club only care for the media attention, not the march . The relationship of march and media attention are symbiotic are they not? Not even David Blaine could attempt seperating the two, but you have, which further demonstrates your atitude towards fans showing pride for THEIR identity. Where i do agree, the march must be about our colours and what they mean, not Vincent Tan. I think the club are being media savvy because they have to be, i have acknowledged that, so why the abuse about my intellect? After all i outfoxed you into criticising a regime you're often fuirst to defend, I think you are over thinking the clubs actions and trying to be too clever, they are merely entering a game out of nessecity, an imperitive forced by the march. Credit to the march for forcing dialogue, the trend will continue until Tan makes a compromise, even then you'll deride it at a media game. It';s a results game and a seat at the table for talking is a result to be built on for further 'media games'. your failure to grasp the concept is quite worrying. As for defending the regime. I judge every action on its own merit. The rebrand is obviously negative, but that won't make me critisize the good things Tan has done. Just like I wont critisize the man on made up nonsense which often gets thrown about on here. My stance has always been the same, I just dont want Tan out until I know what the alternative is, it could be far worse.

A march of 10k wouldnt make Tan blink as long as the stadium is full, but when the media get involved thats when the club goes on the charm offensive.

The only way blue will return is when Tan has gone and even then its a big if.
