I think the millions of family's affected by cancer world wide are happy to see £1million and counting donated to cancer charities

It's not just a fad - it's raising money for a great cause and I don't see how anyone can have a problem with that

I'm not complaining seeing pictures of fit girls not slapped in makeup appearing on my Facebook wall either

I thought these 'no make-up selfies' were pointless and stupid at first, but they have managed to get people to donate and over £1m has been raised for Cancer Research in just a day, that's pretty amazing if you ask me. No one can say it hasn't raised awareness when it clearly has.

Trouble is not many people donate or give to cancer charities without some sort of reason like this......... Just give it's not just for them!!!!! The ones that don't are probably the ones that have not experienced it first hand......

The problem is that people forget about charities like this. There have been some ridiculous trends in recent years (neck and nominate to be the most recent and the most idiotic) but when trends like this are helping raise money for charity and getting everyone talking about it then I can only see it as a good thing.

It is raising awareness though. Everyone is talking about it

You can raise awareness without traumatising decent men & putting the boots counter women under pressure of redundancy. I mean, where will the women on the make-up counter go? Under the bridge at the top of butestreet in a cardboard box? We'll need to raise awareness for them then? vicious circle
