I really hate the whole "X player is better than Y player"

It's a team game, people will have off days, and that's when you should know your team has your back - and that teamwork aspect is really starting to come through with each game.

I agree, so why people started to call fabio shit after a couple of games baffles me, now he has come good they all look stupid.

Oh agree, yet slate Medel.

More hypocrisy. :laughing5:

Re: Fabio top tackler

Tue Mar 18, 2014 11:08 am

Medel stopped running because he was seriously getting burnt by a top player, no shame in that, that's not his game.

Fabio looked like he couldn't play in the first few games, now he looks like he will be part of the furniture.

Our team is now based more on speed, so another whipping boy of the boo boys, Whitts will never find himself outside as our only flank presence. Left hand side of a tight central 3 looks like Ole's preferred tactic and its looking good.

Slate Medel? Making up things again I see, do you not look through previous posts before you comment  I said fabio performed better than Medel on sat defensive wise, and Medel was overpriced, hardly slating Medel. Go back to sleep :old:

Not sure how people expect a player who hasn't started in ears to be brilliant first few games goes to show how little people who follow city actually know about football

My opinion of course

Well he was our best defensive midfielder on sat then, done better than the 12 million Medel signed by the messiah

 did you actually watch the game? :laughing6:

No I did not watch the game thats why I said according to the stats

Gets on his high horse slating everyone and it turns out he didn't even watch the game!

Getting back on topic, Fabio has improved over the last few games and I hope his improvement continues. Fabio was short of match fitness initially so I was more critical of his decision making and positional sense when he first joined us. But hopefully after getting fitter and having a few decent games, he will now have the confidence to finish the season strongly for us.

Read that again Barry, if he isn't selected he won't get match for and show what he can really do when fit lol

There's more than one way to get match fit than being thrown straight into the first team.

Yep. Doesn't have to be first team matches though. :thumbright:

If he was that unfit as people are suggesting, he should have had a game or two in the reserves to get him up to speed, instead of getting thrown straight in. :thumbright:

Making up things again I see, your good at this. If you read through the posts again, as you obviously have a memory like a sieve, I stated that how can you judge a player after a few games, the players I am judging have either been with city all this season or last and are no where near fabios qaulity

No, you said he was thrown straight in because he was already better than what we had already at RB... Well Ole obviously disagrees as he hauled him off twice & them rightly dropped him. :thumbright:

Most of us with football knowledge could see fabio was going to come good, and so could the main man Ole. The clueless on here would of kept that donkey KTC at right back.

The fact that you tried comparing Fabio playing on the wing to Medel playing as a defensive midfielder, shows your "football knowledge". :laughing6:

The "main man" ole also saw how dreadful he was for the first few games, so hauled him off and also dropped him. At the moment, he's the best player in his position. Still feel he has to work on the defensive side of his game though.

What are you basing that off exactly? Fabio hasn't stood out over the last 6 years he has been in English football. I remember him going through a mini purple patch with QPR but that is it. He was only brought in to help Rafael settle.

I may be wrong but I never saw you defend Fabio when he was being slated last month.

Comparing Fabio on the wing to Medel in a defensive midfield role. :laughing6:

Using Fabio's stats on the wing on Saturday to prove he's a good left back. :laughing6:

Huge wages? Why talk shit? I wouldn't class his wages as huge, and under half what the biggest flop in history Cornelius was on.

How is that defending him? You say he isn't on huge wages. That isn't defending his performances which is what I implied.

Plus bullshitter? Do you even know what that word means? The funny thing is you've bullshitted by saying you've defended Fabio in that post which you haven't.

Yes I do watch/go to games. The fact that you thought he played in defence Saturday suggests you don't though. :laughing6:
