Can't see how this Roath Magic person can have any time to watch football. With about 300 posts a week just on this forum, he must spend most of his life in front of a keyboard. Sad.

What I can't work out is him staying up through the night to watch cardiff when Swansea play the following day . Fair enough watching is own team but a team he claims are so poor all the time as you said sad

I know people moan about us talking about them on here but does anyone else think after that loss they are well in the relegation battle? I certainly do.

Swansea probably have the better squad out of bottom 7 or 8 but their big problem in my opinion is they believe the hype about themselves. Pride comes before a fall.

Everyone from Hull down is in the mix I guess, however to be realistic I think it's got to be between Fulham and Palace/West Brom. What was once 10 teams is now down to more like 5 or 6, it's certainly going to be close.

Really we need to beat Brom, Palace, Sunderland and Stoke if we want to stay up. 12 points takes us to 37 and that'll be enough this season I think.

What a lovely story the Swansea manager and the pundits are all wrong because you say your not in it at this moment in time and the table lies as well. Cardiff are obviously deep in the mire and will have to do better in the last quarter of the season than the previous three quarters which is extremely doubtful but were realistic about it. You are saying if we win this game and that game we'll be alright. the last two weeks when it's been suggested to you your not far away you have said but when we beat palace and then when we beat w.b.a. We should be o.k. They were winnable games against two teams below you and struggling for form and you were at home. You dropped points against both. Get real until you get those points your in the mix like most people recognise

If (probably when) they stay up that will "prove" rheyvwere never in the fight to roathy, even though monk said yesterday they were but what does the actual Swansea manager know eh..

I will tell you a little story.

When I was 16, I worked part time in Tesco's. It was Xmas time and my second week there - the manager of the store was telling us all to drive sales by work ethic in the morning meeting. He was very boastful that morning saying "yesterday a man came in and bought 250 cases of the £15 on offer Budweiser, so I sorted him out a pallet out the back and made the company £400 odd in seconds".

I took my gun, scanned the barcode and it said "margin -11%". So I spoke up and said to the manager who was accompanied by the GSM, "surely if we are losing 11% on each case and the offer is a "loss leader" to basically entice people through the door - in which profits are then made by other purchases... Then why the hell would you sell them all to one man who bought nothing else? You lost the company money not made the company money"

The GSM clapped his hands and said to the manager "see what I mean". From then on restrictions were put on sale items to customers.

The moral of the story is, dont let someones job title threaten your own thoughts.

Our form is 5 points from 5 games. Considering we need another 4 from 9 games im sure you can see why I dont think we are in a dogfight. Even you dont think we will go down, does ANYONE actually think we will go down? I aint seen it.

We are a notoriously negative fanbase. I remember us being top of League 1 by something like 10 points with maybe 8 games left and people saying "we wont win the title" and complaining thinking the world was caving in when we went off the boil towards the end of the season. They also said we had no hope of getting promoted and then likewise staying up. Each time they get proven wrong, each time I get proven right.... Which is why I set myself apart from them, and they dislike me as a result.

Leighton James is always someone more worthy of an opinion about Swansea than Gary Lineker for example. However I still back my thought over his, why wouldnt I.

As for Monk. Everyone admires and respects him, he captained us through the leagues. He has always been earmarked for the manager role. Some have confidence, others dont. It all hinges on results. If we win then hes the next mourinho, if we lose hes out of his depth.

Fact is, he is a good manager and the right fit for us. Whether thats long term remains to be seen.

Thats the thing with me, when it comes to opinions I am impartial. Thats why I see things other Swans fans dont. I dont let emotions get in the way of reality which is why they get annoyed with me as what I say often doesnt match what they feel. Its probably to do with my job, I own two companies ive built up from scratch - i have to make decisions with my head and not my heart daily.

James also said that our performance away to Valencia was the greatest from a British side in Europe ever... He is prone to a bit of bias bless him.
