Mutch whos been tracking there goal scorer most the game goes off, on comes whitts and they score

We were 4-4-2 when they scored so why would Whitts be tracking a winger? KTC, Fabio or Noone depending who was right wing at the time should be tracking him. Any excuse to blame Whitts it seems
