marshy done tremendous work getting the engine house of the ground, keeping kids out of trouble and should be given an MBE for his services.

 So if he didn't do anything wrong then why didn't he not turn up on many occasions for his dismissal..? and for what I hear the raising legal costs for a local chairty was the main reason behind the fact that 'settlement' rather than him actually winning the case.

Erm, because he was sick, maybe thats why didnt turn up. And before you say he was in Australia that was a well earned break and to help with his mental breakdown.

It doesnt matter what youve heard the fact remains he won the case.

Sick on each of the different occasions yet he was ok to travel to Australia and touch an almost dead baby shark!!! FFS!!!

No he DID NOT win the case because there was a settlement between both parties due to high legal costs suffered by the charity.

unlike you travelling to Miami to recover from your debilitating SAD id think before you speak before you criticise someone for going on holiday for medical reasons

It appears to me that this chap was dismissed whilst he was on holiday and only found out when he returned. There are only a few reasons where "Summary Dismissal", as appears to be the case here, can be defended and theft or fraud is one of them. Even in such cases there is a duty on the employer to establish the FACTS prior to making the decision to dismiss and then give the employee the right of appeal against that decision.

I think with the maximum compensation figure being £74K at the moment the lawyers acting for his employer have told them to settle. The fact that his employers have settled tells you everything you need to know about Brownies assertion that he had committed fraud. Why pay anything if you could prove dishonesty it just doesn't make any sense. Except of course on planet brownie.

This settlement is a clear victory the shark wrangler and an expensive lesson to the daft lads who once employed him.

Come and say that to my face you prick!!!

If you congratulate people who steel from local charities then I bet you give a right 'pat on the back' to people who steel from charity boxes too!!!!

Far too many people are commenting and to be frank haven't got a f*cking clue about the issue and just jumped onto this simply because I am involved.

The guy is a crook plain and simply and as Ive told him before, I hope he would attempt to sue me because maybe that is the only way that the truth would come out!!!

Your right I only did jump in because you were mentioned, I have no idea the behind the scenes stuff that went with the case but if I see you I'll mention it to your face, oh and yes I'm a prick so all in all this has to be one of your finer posts as it's quite correct

How does that hit the owner in his pocket when we have 21000 season tickets (those seats are paid for) and the away supporters paying as well?????

Again a protest where people don't go to games, whilst the OP hasn't attended a Cardiff game since the League Cup final, tries to take the moral high ground but can't

It wouldn't be empty. Around 10 to 20% wouldn't be there. The rest would go.
