I forget who we were playing but all through the half dai was shouting at Damon Searle "Damon, DAMON, DAMON.. do you want to win the game or what, DAMON, DAMON", "DAMON, I've posed a question, I demand and answer!!".

A pissed off Damon Searle, "F**k off Dai you nutter and leave me alone!".

My two memories of him

Pre carling cup final when malky and players were getting on team bus and Sky sports were there etc

Goes straight to front as malky comes out grabs his hand and says "Do it for me son do it for me" and malky says i will i will then he catches Tom heatons eye and says tom tom tom as he walks past and Heaton bursts out in hysterics.


Pre season friendly last year against Newcastle he is standing next to me shouting at don cowie constantly going "Don..Don.. Don.. Doooooooon " getting louder until eventually don cowie turns and says "WHATTTT!" and Dai responds with "ALRIGHT!" and puts his thumb up

Was the scooter story true?

I was working with Dai at the time and he was heading home from LLandow trading est at the end of his shift, he was at the Culverhouse Cross roundabout and acknowledged a fellow Bluebird with an Ayatollah which obviously is not a good idea when riding a scooter, he came off and got his leg stuck under the exhaust and sustained burns to his leg, the poor bugger had to spend something like 3 weeks in Morrison Hospital in Swansea and missed 2 games I believe, the first games he'd missed for donkey's years.
Fair play he's a legend.

True,I was sitting by him once when Kasper Scmichael was in goals for us he kept shouting instructions to him all through the game,me and my mates were in stitches although I don't think I'd have liked to have sat by Him for any more than the one game

I had the pleasure of sitting next to him for a whole year as our season tickets were together! By the end he had done my head in and I was a broken man.
