I don't want to hang Malky. I just want to forget about him and support Ole. We aren't used to changing managers as we haven't done it as often as other clubs, so seem to make more of it. How many clubs are on only their third manager in the last 8 and a half years? :ole:

Watford didnt have to sack him......................final 21 games there saw them drop from 6th to 14th..........get just 4 wins, and pick up 19 pts { relegation form }....would they have sacked him had we not stepped in?
im still mystified at his appointment tbh..

Why did he not strengthen the centre of our defence when we blatantly needed it ?
Why did we play such poor opposition in pre season on the build up to this season ?

He was a top guy and decent manager ( albeit with a big transfer kitty ) but a lot of his decisions were strange to say the least when it came to team affairs .

His results and performances in his last 2 months were poor and like he said all along , he should be judged on those !
He was and he was sacked .

I agree though he will go down on Cardiff city history as very successful and he was but he was by no means a "great" manager IMO .

But surely Malky deserved one full season in the Premier League as our manager ?

Is Ole Premier League management ?

If somebody who worked for you spunked all your money will you sack him or say its ok you deserve a full year?

An maybe ole did admire cornelious that doesn't mean he thought he was worth 8 million and 45k a week.

But Malky never did he, as Malky earned City up to £160 mill by getting us to the Premier League a fact.

That's no excuse for wasting all that money.

Ive given my opinion on Ole and thats all and yes I respect everyones opinions on Malky, but many thanks to Tans spin have virtually gone on a crusade against Malky, yet Malky delivered so much, in such a short time and yes I am shocked by it.

I actually feels sorry for Ole coming in as our manager with Tan as owner, half way through a season where our club is divided by politics etc.

So it's Tans Fault that the fans have turned on Malky?

Same way as you agree with That Blue will rise fella that It's the Pro Tan And Red fans that drove Malky out!!!!

Malky was very good and probley deserved better as fans we showed him enough respect as he did us but I can also see why Tan wanted to know where these players like Brayson ,Cornelius ,Harris ,Velonikja ,had been signed lets be honest he signed shit last summer and that is clear to see now I think Malky knew this and played everyone behind the ball for that very reason, Man City aside all my memory is us passing back to the keeper how anyone thought we would have stayed up playing like that I don't know the fact is Annis Malky is history and we just need to get on with it as for Ole and your 12 games judgment working under conditions like this its pathetic you clearly got something against him and thats clear for all to seeat the moment we dont really need a Ole in or out argument my beloved Cardiff have got enough troubles without adding anymore :ayatollah:

Iv always respected malky for getting us to the prem and I like malky as a person. But the facts are he messed up and is not good enough for the prem IMO. Tan is just a fool and should stay out of football matters and stop making us a laughing stock, I thank him for his investment but would like him to sell up in the summer leaving our club in a good financial state.

Re: " I can see its attack Malky once again on here "

Wed Mar 05, 2014 7:17 pm

I personally don't see why anyone keeps bringing up Malky's reign other than the money spent which obviously has had a knock on effect as we haven't got the quality unfortunately to compete at this level. It seems in January Ole's mantra was obviously to bring in players he thought could do a job for paying with the best part of fresh air.

MM has gone. He isn't coming back which will infuriate some, and delight others.

But we have the clichéd 10 cup finals left this season and I personally feel that all efforts on the pitch and from the stands should be solely focused on these rather than dragging up old news.

Re: " I can see its attack Malky once again on here "

Wed Mar 05, 2014 7:21 pm

Malky will always be a legend for taking us up but his management has flaws.

Going up we never had any style of play and I think that was his biggest problem, we had no system even when winning the league. It was fine for the championship but upon promotion we needed more than defend and hope for a free kick or corner.
Malky transfer deals with a smaller budget was average/good but his spending in the prem wasn't up to it. Spend to much on certain players and didn't solve the problems we have had for years at left and right fullback and upfront.

He is gone now and Ole is in charge is he the right choice? I don't know but he gets my support and deserves a chance of a full summer to sort the squad which in my opinion is a bit of a mess.

I would take malky back in a shot, yes he made mistakes, name me a manager who hasn't, remember Vernon man u and Chelsea spent big money on that flop. If he was here now we would still have a chance of staying up, but sadly it looks like we are doomed now. Will always have total respect for him, can't say the same about Tan

they had money to take a chance with. We spent 1/3 of our budget on "one for the future" and relied on Odemwingie

I just posted this on another thread, it seems apt to reply to your bollocks with the same reply:

Trying to justify the way Malky spent 50m for a club our size in the summer, as "even Fergie and Mourinho make mistakes" is just laughable.

Fergie and Mourinho can offset any transfers that dont work out with medels on the table. Comparing a club our size and with our ambitions, to that of a club ten times the size, is just plain daft.

The way Malky spent his budget in the summer wasnt a "mistake" it was crazy. One senior pro, Medel, One player with prem experience, Odemwingie who he played out of position, 2 prospects Caulker and Cornelius, of which one was absolute dogshite and was at one point (until they signed Medel and Odemwingie) the highest paid player at the football club!!!!!

We already had 2 right backs, he signed another 2, none of them better than what we already had, and bombed one out straight away, and failed to sign a left back to cover one of the worst players in the promoted squad!!!

Didnt raise the bar one bit on a strikeforce that was averaging barely a goal a game in the Championship, 2nd half of the season, how the f**k did he think we was going to get the goals to win enough matches to stay in the Premier league???

Didnt add any pace or creativity to the squad, both lacking in our promotion season, where you can get away with it in the Championship but you cannot in the Premier League.

Try comparing it to what other teams have done in their first Premier League season on far less budgets and then come back and have a serious discussion.

QPR done what we did and two managers, Warnock and Hughes paid the price. QPR aside the last club I can think of that totally wasted a a budget beyond the size of their club was Liverpool and Dalglish paid the price.

I expected better from u as well.
No I never admitted it, what I said was when Hull sung it a fact and the person had to back track from it, Nukes turned round to me and we both looked at each other, we were so fed us we should of been crying when we were 4 nil down and 80% of the stadium had deserted, we laughed and myself and Nukes both pointed to each other and said your sacked in the morning, not sung or directed at Ole, Bloody hell u cant have a chat/laugh with a mate now at the football without lies being spread.

Sorry u dont go now, just sell your tickets for profit etc.

I am still going until my ticket runs out with the Chelsea home game. I missed two games this season and gave them both away for FREE to a friend. Thats how I roll mate so dont go accusing me of selling tickets for profit please.

If you are reffering to the season ticket I was selling it is for Nanny Mcphail who has a serious illness and hasnt been able to go since xmas and what he is selling it for is £35 cheaper than if you buy the tickets seperately.

Apology accepted

I have been offered £200 for mine and Nannys Liverpool ticket which I turned down, much to Nannys annoyance seeing as he cannot go and the guy must have the pair, but the guy is everything that is wrong with football fans in South Wales so he could ever £400 and I wont take it.
