When has this board never had an agenda against the club or someone within the club. Sadly what was once a good football board has been turned into an income driven board. More hits more money so the anti tan agenda fits the bill.
The board is being driven by a tan out agenda now without the slightest idea what would happen to the club if tan actually walked away.
Certainly if tan walked and the club folded this boards life would be over quite rapidly.
Look back over the boards existence and the likes of gethin Jenkins ridsdale pmg mike hall have all been targeted with the only stand out exemption being Sam who brought the initial sea of debt to us in the first place.

Steve, you always talk sense, I always enjoy reading your posts as one of the more balanced and sensible posters on here, so much so that I will sift out yours when threads seem to drag on. Good to see more people, and those such as yourself, see through the agenda on here. It's a shame they can't see the damage they're doing and how it is they that are dividing the fan base as much if not more so than anyone else

More nonsense! Are you really suggesting that someone posting their thoughts on a forum is dividing the fan base more than tan? Who may I remind you, instigated the split in the first place.

The rebrand was a marketing move was it not..?
Do you think the head of marketing has more power then the owner of the company he works for?

f*cking dribbler.
Have to say that did make me laugh - I might use that myself, tidy :ayatollah:

Me neither Roathie, too busy today.

I wasnt expecting a reply to be honest I just wanted to vent some anger and frustration and was hoping if enough people who were not renewing did the same at least it might give the club something to think about.

I manage accounts, large and small, in the company I work for and if someone says they are thinking of goign elswhere to print you try and get to the bottom of the problem, and make them stay.

I dunno, I just thought the head of marketing replies were quite dismissive and come across "Oh well, your leaving, you will be replaced".

Its no skin off my nose, as I said, I wont be renewing anyway, ive lost my mojo for going down there and thats not all down to Tan and the rebrand, as I said to Barney in a PM this morning, changing the kit colour back to blue wont solve all the problems, I had started to feel this way long before the rebrands, and I know others did too, but still went as a force of habit.

It was clear from the start that if you guys vote with your feet then you hold all the power. Tan just threatens and drops hints as to what MAY happen if you dont fall into line. But push come to shove the only realistic outcomes are good ones from the real fans perspective.

Being in the Prem, voting with feet wont work as you will just be replaced with happy clapping reds... Go down however, and you have a chance again, and in my opinion, not renewing is exactly the correct decision to envoke change. You do your bit and thats all you can do, it is everyone elses duty to follow suit.

As for this guy, he seems like a puppet with his hands tied. He is basically reduced to becoming an automated machine. He is dismissive but there isn't a lot else he can be given the situation. You guys really do need to wrestle your club back.

I agree we should have dug our heels in and protested from the start.

As I already admitted, and its a shame more wouldnt, especially some of the more vocal anti-Tan posters, we reluctantly went with it as we were so close 3 years on a trot, the Jacks were there and getting the plaudits, and we wanted it no matter what the cost.

This board is now the biggest Anti-Tan vehicle but at the time prominent posters were asking for calm, and well we all know about what happened at the meeting organised for the protest, its well documented.

Still a lot of anti-Tan are asking for calm.

It has been a bit of a mystery to me why some of the older heads have kept quiet over the last couple of seasons knowing that they are anti rebrand.

What a totally arrogant response. Isn't he the lucky one that he's got good gates and a waiting list for new STH's.

A better response would have been:

Hi Christian,
Sorry to hear you want to cancel your seats for next season. Hopefully you will feel differently before the cut off date. I will hold your seats until that date and I sincerely hope you will feel differently before that time comes. I and the Club value our fans, so if there's anything I can do to help, please let me know.

Yes Berwyn they don't give a f**k who fills the seat. Since the rebrand I have not attended even though I admit I have been tempted once or twice. They repeatedly sent me offers of getting season ticket or buying merchandise or having dinner which included 1/2 bottle of wine  I repeatedly told them to f**k off and said I would not be attending till we are back to our traditional colours and badge. They carried this on for a bit , to be honest it was if they were winding me up. That Jenkins bloke wrote back saying I would be welcome back any time if I changed my mind   I haven't had any more e-mails after my last outburst of abuse I gave them to stop harassing me

I agree Berwyn it is a shocking answer by an arrogant man who was probably a painter before he got that job.
If I was Chris I would e.mail the responses to Mehmet .
The club should be worrying why long term season ticket holders are not renewing because one thing is for certain once the club is relegated that ten thousand waiting list for season tickets will disappear overnight
