When the stadium was originally built it flew up in next to no time. Don't care who's paying for it but i think it will be us in the future. The extra revenue potential it can bring with the fair play rules it's got to be a good thing

As long as the steel and concrete work is done by the summer holidays the kids will only need a fee weeks for the lego stage.

No thank God.

Why buy something you can never sell when you can rent it at a very reasonable price.

You just made that up lol

No that's not made up and they are subsidising a % of the build

Any links that say that? I have not.seen that in any reports

Not sure Wez if I find any I will put it on here, I thought it was common knowledge

I've been following the expansion closely but only.hear on this thread tonight that uefa are ment to be paying for some of cost I knew tan had put around 10 m aside for it

UEFA are paying for the away team changing rooms to be upgraded. They are not paying for the expansion.

Hopefully it won't be a catalyst for double relegation like wolves when they started redevelopment.

You disagree then?

You think it will create a good atmosphere half full attendances.

a 33,000 stadium with 18,000 in it?

How dare someone disagree with Roathie. Have been in plenty of stadiums with a good atmosphere when nowhere near full and the opposite is true Cardiff being an example. It's not being built for atmosphere it's being built for potential extra revenue and to meet demand when needed.

No one will disagree that Tan is a lunatic, but at least he has delivered on nearly all of his promises (debt to equity still outstanding) how's your new stand coming along, three years and counting

Re: ' CCFC STADIUM EXPANSION - LATEST PHOTO'S '

Wed Mar 05, 2014 8:23 am

If the cost is 10million not really sure the exact amount then if it's fully sold out for just under 4 years you get your money back that's without the corporate monies which reading in another thread is in high demand. Obviously relegation comes with risks and i am in no doubt the general apathy at the club could affect sales. In my opinion the expansion should of been earlier if anything

Once again the resident jack roathy and cancer of the forum is derailing another thread ,

The problem with this cancer (roathie) is that if you ignore him as i usually do, then he just uses one of his multiple user names to either talk to himself or make up another thread, now all the mods know what he's doing and i'm sure annis does but until this board becomes a registered site then this disease will go on bringing this site down.

"Anger problem Cityone" and "wes the financial wally" making stuff up and getting their knickers in a twist because Roathie makes an obvious point once again.

I wont mention the deplorable "cancer" jibe on a forum where a couole of members are going though it at the moment wuite publicly.

Learn to take on views or dont log on would be my advice

No that's not made up and they are subsidising a % of the build

Uefa use relatively small stadiums for the super cup monacos held about 20,000 and last years final was played in front of 26,000 so the current capacity is big enough

The club hope it will be and could be for the most important games. What's interesting it's been designed to offer some of the best corporate facilities around. The seating area accounts for about 20% of the building. The actual extension has Been designed with alternative business as well as that associated with football. Our present sytner and Corporate areas are being hired out daily and doing huge business.Of course relegation would not be ideal but completing the 1st stage has been undertaken with every consideration. Think of Tan what you like but this development is small by comparison in his book.Cardiff City and it's supporters should take heart from such investments and move on with confidence.

I'm not quite sure why the jack bastards take the time to worry about our expansion as it's not got anything to do with them at all. But then jealousy is making the lemons more bitter than usual.

Who is worrying? :D

Yep you are right, why cant we be bookies favourites to go down, not scoring in 4 games, winning 1 of last 12, have bickering fans, playing in an alien colour, £100m in debt with a mad Malaysian owner. Its just not fair

Building it for the future...whatever that holds. Though you are so f*cking clever you can probably tell us. You've already predicted 18,000 crowds...how the f**k do you know that?? You are just a saddo the time you spend on here. Pathetic.

But surely there is a time and a place to do such a thing. Not when you are £100m in debt, favourites for the drop and looking like no need for it in the immediate future.

As for 18,000 crowds. You were getting similar last year according to Annis with many many no shows from £10 season tickets. With Season tickets going up by 25% and no £10 season tickets available then I think it is a fairly accurate guess.

You can call me all the names under the sun, shows me my posts are hitting home :thumbright:
