Perhaps Tan was the reason Marshall went up for the last 2 corners in injury time. It did prompt the chant "David Marshall.. why haven't you scored". Classic! It would have been brill if he had though.

Suddenly everyone is saying the Mail doesn't know what it's talking about, despite it being spot on for years. (Which is another thing people wrongly accused Malky of, leaking to the Mail)

I would have been more shocked if it hadn't happened. As i said earlier, Abramovich offered £1m per player in the changing room before a champions league final. It's common place in football.

Interesting story. Is this rule enforceble? Is it possible that normal employment law is applied here? I'm not aware of any law where a business owner doesn't have the right to offer a bonus as an incentive to his staff.
