so you think we will only turn over 80 m this season mr chuckles ? we will not make a loss this season ;)

Where is this extra 20 million coming from then?

premier club ticket sales 100% the clubs this season ,sponsorship increased ticket sales home and away sales ,shirt sales etc the kids are lapping it up ;) sponsorship is a big one you noticed all the new boards around the stadium ?

Ticket sales, sponsorship and merchandise is already calculated in the £80m

Where ELSE is the fantasy £20m coming from was the question.

Im amazed I have to answer it to be honest :D

The TV money is already paid, prize money hasn't been paid yet. But guaranteed income for bottom side is £61m (I believe). Its 750k or £1m per place higher.

So if income this year is £62-£65m (realistically) and other income is £15m ish then that makes an income of £80m.

If you spend £40m on transfers, £40m on wages (its surely more), £5m on operating fees, £6m of transfers owed from last year.... That makes an outgoing of £90m ish - again it is probably more like £100m.

Thats a defect of £20m. Tan can write it as he likes in a way, depending on when he wants to pay things. But the business actions from this year will see a deficit of at least £20m - whether he will decide to bare it this year or next remains to be seen.

Admin costs were 15m last year and wages and bonuses this season will be massive. The chances of you lot making a profit look slim at best.

I was only concerned with the income, as you've already mentioned our outgoings!

I knew that the bottom club was guaranteed a minimum of £61 million, which I've already mentioned, but I was under the impression that this was paid at the end of the season!

You haven't broken down the TV money or how much the prize money is!

Spot on. I was being very generous with my figures in their favour.

Im positive the wage bill will be £50m + but counted it as £40m just to show the depth of the trouble they are in.

I would imagine Tan is being clever with wording and numbers there and using the net debt figure which takes into account the valuation of the stadium rather than the gross debt figure.

£40-50m loss IMO at least

It's not as rosy as It looks our income may treble but so do outgoings that's the reality of it, tan has hardly been prudent up to us gettin to the prem and hasn't changed since we got here add in sackings and back room staff payouts Cornelius losses and other issues if say £40m loss would be about close to the mark of not worse

Our wage bill was £15-£20m last season not forgetting most would have had premiership clauses and bonuses written in their contracts without the transfer spend which is estimated at £40-£50m alone stadium expansion costs and training ground planned =huge loss I'm afraid tan will no doubt set it off as more loans but he has to stop somewhere

I'm guessing when we go down we will look to offload £25-£30m of players and cut wage bill in half hopefully the clowns in charge put relegation clauses in contracts but I doubt that!!
