Jason fowler was class on his day Brentford goal obviously sticks out but he is our whitts now an enigma all the talent in the world just a bit to casual.
Also Phil bater not for his footy skills but when he run up to the centre circle to get involved in a 20 man shove off and then one of the opposing players goes flying out of it sparked out turning the shove off into a brawl. Made the game more entertaining that's for sure. Think it was Aldershot or someone like that. All this reminiscing reminds me how shit the football was back then. What times though

Robin Friday was a notorious entertainer - not so much a legend.

Kav vastly overared, lge 1 player, did very little after leaving us,failed to make a republic of ireland 25 man world cup squad, and in his final season with us { the only one at champioship level}.. we picked up more points per game in the 19 games he missed than the 27 he played in..............

But a legend nonetheless I reckon. Great free kick, bossed the mid, got more from his team mates and that goal v Leeds ... We were lucky to have him
