There has not been ONE decently organised protest in the last two years. Just half hearted attempts with an ill disciplined bunch of kids with no direction. Photos of protests against blue with some wearing RED FFS. Photo opportunities ruined because protesters were pissed/ holding up cans is not smart.

Boxing Day. :thumbright:

I reiterate. The red thing is a Tan personal preference and has nothing to do with the saleability of the club. If we are bought playing in red there will be nothing to stop the new owner changing us back to blue. There is no business model that suggests we will only be bought because we are red and should continue to be so.

We will be blue again.

I know you have said it Carps, but you fluctuate between stating it as fact and it merely being your opinion - it seems now you are going down the fact route again. I don't think you find many these days thinking he changed it simply because he liked it.

It makes far more sense he changed the colour to be more marketable for further investment or to facilitate a take over on the future in the far east. He clearly believes a change to red will do one of the above as far as im concerned - which is why I think many are kidding themselves. The new owners will have been targeted by Tan and for that reason will see the club being red like man united and liverpool as a plus.

Any money lost on merchandise can be made up by selling the blue away kit like they are doing now in droves. So financially, it makes no difference what so ever. Since the rebrand you have had back to back record average attendances for the CCS so from a business point of view - no issue.

Never said anything was fact, just my opinion that I strongly believe.
Anything else is an over-complication, a smokescreen.
Time will tell but IMO we will be back in blue once Tan sells.

Anything other than the change to red being a personal preference.

Tan wanted red as his favourite colour. Lucky. To dress it up as a commercial decision I believe is a smokescreen, a way to justify the whim of the owner and an attempt to appease the fans.

Even if (big if IMO) Tan thought there would be greater commercial opportunities I'm sure he's now realised only sustained success on the pitch will get you that, whatever the colour of the shirt. Too stubborn to back down so under Tan we will remain red.

I'm sure our next owner will not be such an eccentric or demonstrate a naivety towards running a football club, and that the decision to buy will not be dependent or even influenced by us being red. To get the fans on side from the off, we will be turned back to blue.

All my opinion, only time will tell, but I'm sure we will be blue in the not too distant future. :ayatollah:

You are right Roathy but I read the word rebrand all the time, it should be more accurately described as a catastrophic failure of a rebrand.
