Id sell:
Hudson
Tommy Smith
Whittingham
Cowie
Kenwyne Jones
Eikrem
That is it. imo the squad is good enough, it is just being managed poorly.
We are not a top half team and squad players such as Andrew Taylor who is only 27 wouldn't come cheaply.

The truth is any team is only as strong as it's weakest link, and the fact is two managers have failed to buy a premier league quality goal scorer. Who honestly believes we'd have got thumped the way we did by Hull if we'd scored during our early spell on Saturday. It's far easier to defend if your a goal up or level, once your behind with no belief you can bring it back, defending becomes far more difficult. I believe that if we'd had someone like Defoe from the start of the season most of the rest of the team would have proved good enough to have kept us up and have been bottom half of the league standard. 8 to 10 probably only Marshall, Caulker, Medal and Mutch. Top 7 probably no one.

Over the summer the key areas Malky needed to sort out were at L/R fullback and upfront and 50m later we are still struggling badly in these key positions and Ole hasn’t been able to improve them in January (which was a hard ask).
Prem players
Marshall
Caulker
Cala (only seen one game but VERY impressed but hard to judge)
Medel (we just over paid)
Mutch
Noone
Then we have a couple of players who can slot in but IMO should not be relied on as first team members week in week out.
Wolf
Turner
Campbell
Dhaehli

Good enough to hold their own in the Premier League in this seasons current campaign.
Mine are
David Marshall, Gary Medel. Steven Caulker, Craig Noone, Jordon Mutch, Craig Bellamy, Fraizer Campbell( Who I actually doubted originally ) and I need to see Juan Cala in more matches first, he looks good.
Marshall,Caulker,Cala,Medel,Whitts,Mutch,Campbell that's all from me.
Mon Feb 24, 2014 3:02 pm
Marshall
Caulker
John
Medel
Noone
Bellamy
Mutch
It's pretty obvious that we made a pretty shit attempt at strengthening in the summer isn't it? Way too much hope pinned on average Championship players being able to step up to the plate.
Mon Feb 24, 2014 3:04 pm
Marshall
Caulker
Cala going on saturday's performance
John has a future in the top flight
Turner has the attributes to make it
Fabio as a squad player. Can cover both full backs.
Medel
Mutch
Noone
Daehli has a bright future
Kim as a squad player
Whitts as a squad player
Campbell as a squad player
Jones as a squad player
Only 5/6 to start regularly. Cala being the 6th if he continues as he started.
The spine of the team is quite solid. Its in the wide positions and up front, that the problems start. Should have been addressed over the last two transfer windows. How and why this has happened is well documented and commented on regularly. Unfortunately we are in this position now, and need to stick together and support the team. Red, Blue or polka dots aside.

Marshall, Medel, Caulker, and Mutch. Maybe Noone on his day. The rest of them, nope.

I agree unequivocally, fact is we have had a 70% Championship squad throughout the season for one reason or another.

IN My Opinion.
Marshall,
Caulker,
Cala , (mark my words this guy will be awesome). iF WE CAN HANG ON TO HIM , IF RELEGATED.
Medel,
Mutch,
ZAHA (just needs his confidence rebuilt )
Campbell (with the right service)
Future Premier League Certainties,
John,
Turner,
Daehli,
All the rest Championship Players.
Too many poor signings. Fabio is hopeless, Kenwynne Jones , struggling, Eikrem, hmmmm, Berget hmmmm,
Could have been So different , but the lack of conficdence and belief has probably drained 20% of everyones ability and team ethic.
Mon Feb 24, 2014 5:43 pm
A sad state but only
Marshall
Caulker
Mutch
Noone
Medal
Cala
Go down and it's farewell to them all I would say.
Mon Feb 24, 2014 6:36 pm
None of those apart from Declan John and the young Norway Kid ever sustain you Prem football
Harsh but true
Sorry the keeper done ok to be fair.

The whole team have been playing in the Premiership so they are all good enough. But that goes for most teams in the league.
How many of the teams outside of the top 7 of Arsenal Chelsea Spurs Man Utd Man Ciry Liverpool and Everton have players who would get into a team with one of those top 7 clubs? (Sorry about the complicated question). I suspect that few teams would be any better than us in this respect.
There is very little difference of "Premier League Quality" between any of the bottom 10 teams in the Premier League and the top 10 teams in the Championship.
Mon Feb 24, 2014 8:04 pm
Marshall
Cala
Mutch
Medel
Noone is turning into a one trick pony coming back on his left foot all of the time.
Individually caulker is good but as much as I dislike turner, the partnership and organisation of the back 4 always seemed more stable with hudson and turner playing together.

We wasted cash! We signed 3 right backs none who were really better than what we already had in super Kev!
f**k all fab about fabio
Brayford. Unknown
Theo. shocking
Add to that cornelius
And
Failing to sign a top striker in jan has really cost us! We let Maynard. Mason go on loan and in my opinion both are far better options that Berget who is not ready for the prem league! I didn't rate rudy that much either but he is better than Kenwyn jones!
Delhi looks good but is not quite there yet! I'm yet to be convinced on eikrem.

I would be very surprised to see more than 3-4 players being signed by another premier league club if we go down.
Mutch - but very injury prone.
Marshall - Class
Medel - Not a top player and we will loose alot of money if we sell him.
Caulker - good but will once again end in a relegation battling club.
Who could end up as reserves?
Noone - Came as a fresh breath but we all saw that Rosenior had watched Noone play. Had him by the balls the whole match. Does he have more to offer besides going inside?
Dæhli - Will become great but smart thinking and would probably follow OGS down to develope further.
Im surprised that so many fans believe we will succeed in avoiding relegation when so many of us have hard times even filling this list with enough players to fill the back 4 with PL players.
